The gear on the Jesko door is to make the corkscrew motion. A Jesko door doesn't just rotate up, it also slides to the side away from the car.
0:30 surprised about how that g wagon in speed champs look so realistic
Because the real G-wagon also looks like it's made out of lego :D
a G-wagon is just a big box on wheels, cant be that hard to make it out of Lego 😂

I’m more excited about the speed champions honestly, they look so good! Especially the Aston Martin set and the Mercedes one. Even though the SL63 looks sick I would’ve liked better a new AMG GT maybe even a black series. The Lamborghini looks good too but I was never a fan of concept/Vision GT cars
I've allways wondered if LEGO would ever release any Technic Koenigsegg set! The Jesko Absolut looks beyond perfect! ❤❤
The lunar rover will be displayed next to my Saturn V, ISS, curiosity rover, perseverance rover, Hubble space telescope, space shuttle discovery, the Apollo lunar lander, and hopefully the SLS rocket 😉
Also Lego please slow down on the space sets… I can barely afford them right now but I love them 😭
My theory is that the size of the moon vehicle suggests that it is compatible with lego creator 3in1 31152 atronaut
Very excited about the Lunar rover. Definitely on my to get list. I'll hold off on the RC Porsche until I see if it actually moves at a decent speed.
Looking forward to the Porsche. I expect to be building many RC mocs around this scale!
Also the Koenigsegg has the 1L micro panel new in DBG which can be used to finish the front-end of the 9x8 as I imagine the designer wanted to but couldn't due to recolouring restrictions
Really smooth shape, a diff, opening back hood and those really cool doors... I really hope the Jesko will be the gem we are hoping for

That lunar rover is really sick. Wow. So incredibly detailed. Unfortunately my Wallet started crying as soon as I opened it. So I guess I'll have to do some saving before I buy it.

Technic seems to want to stay with this medium sized scale of construction vehicles. I would much prefer to have them in the scale of the MB Arocs.
I like my heavy machinery, but the integrated hub would be pretty nice to have...
I was never a fan of remote control Legos because they were usually off-road cars and I don't like them. I am more into track racing and even though I don't really like electric cars, this Porsche looks incredible and I will definitely buy it.
That LRV is mindblowing! Easily the best set of the batch for me.

A bit of silver coloured fabric will do the trick. Will have to make my own when I get the set.
I've heard the lunar rover is in scale with the Creator 3in1 Spacesuit. So, you will be able to add a driver!

So excited for the Volvo truck/excavator, not too long been infected with the Lego bug and seeing the acros set I fell in love, such a shame it’s no longer about, would absolutely love to have that in my collection, can’t wait to get the Volvo

I have to admit, I was not looking forward to the LRV wen I heard it was coming out. I collect all of the lego NASA space sets, so I was still going to get it, I just wasn't very excited for it. After seeing this, I am now very excited about it! Thank you for the preview!
I absolutely love the space sets too! Hopefully next year we’ll get some of the recent lunar landers, as we’ve just been getting rovers and rockets recently… no problem with that though lmao

This wave seems to be a little less sticker-heavy. The lunar rover looks like a steampunk hotrod at first glance.

Don't care much for the other ones. The Jesko and Volvo seem decent but in no way groundbreaking sets. As for the Porsche, it looks so dull I wonder why they even bothered with a license. And while the new hub is kinda interesting, I do share your concerns. And dare I say the apparent return of the fiber optic cables is the most intesting bit here?
Definitely want that truck with the excavator. Wonder if they would consider making a steamroller by Volvo later on. I want a complete construction yard.
Apparently the lunar rover will also be compatible with the new Creator Astronaut. If yes, this is definitely a day one buy for me.
Oh almost forgot about the astronaut! I need to get him, also the LRV and Artemis rocket too!

I'm excited for the lambo v12 and the jesko absolut, plus I've never seen a car from gran turismo in lego form.
I’m really looking forward to the release of the Mercedes Benz G Wagon when it is revealed and released in August. I absolutely loved the Defender from 2019, as I’m sure this upcoming 4x4 will be even better, especially with those new gearbox pieces from the Yamaha motorcycle 😃

With the speed champions, I'm a bit pissed because the Aston Martin does not have alonso and have some random blonde women (not offending) but it would be nice to have an actual driver

That technic hub is AWESOME. It's going to be a great basis for any random RC car. Planning to try making my own Nissan Leaf on the basis of tha thub.
lrv looks cool! could the mudguards be some form of slide? maybe a new rollar coaster / themepark type set?
If were to buy one it would be the Porsche. Really interested to see what Lego defines as the fastest built Lego RC ever. Also it's in the perfect in between scale of not being too large or too small. The Rover looks fantastic, and the detail rivals most Icon scale releases. Modular display options are also a nice inclusion. Price is super steep at almost 300 Canadian though. Most of all looking forward to the large scale SUV announced for later in the year. I think it's the same one as released in the Mercedes Speed Champions sets which is already top of my list for the Summer wave.
Really excited for the Koenigsegg! 😁 The engine compartment looks really cool and reminds me a bit of the rally car set. Luckily, it isn't that expensive. The other sets are getting too expensive for me. 😕
Is there any Lego vehicle that you recommend (Lego with engines)

Wonder how long it will be until someone stuffs the Porsche hub into a car the size of the $50 sets? All of these sets are pretty exciting tbh. I think that lunar rover reuses the rims from the Vespa scooter but in grey. I expect its tires could be used in things like robot mocs since I've seen plenty of robots with grey tires, and if they ever get recolored in black they'll be useful for all sorts of things. The Volvo truck with excavator feels like a return to old technic in a good way. I do feel like there was a missed opportunity for the generator to house a motorized air compressor though.

Imagine the reason they made the moon rovers wheels fold in is because they are going to make a huge apollo rocket and the moon rover is like an add on

I don't really think so. It works like the old power functions motor with steering hub but it uses app control

I love these sets. I have always been a sucker for Koenigsegg cars. I am very glad that there will now be a Koenigsegg.

Im getting the space shuttle and perseverance rover for my birthday this month (thanks parents and wife)... I got the Tie Interceptor as a gift to myself, though I'm starting to regret not waiting for the LRV 😅😅 The SLS will be in a few years when both kids are old enough to build it with me, at the same time they actually get back on the moon 🤘
the lambo is really cool, It would be nice to have a saftey car, though the green feels a bit off. The mercedes g wagon seems a bit oversized, I don't know how they'll put that off at this scale.
I'm not a fan of electric cars, but it's quite a smart to move for Lego to make RC sets based off EVs. By doing so they get the same type of drivetrain of the real vehicles, and they don't have to put any piston engine
