What are the odds that I started doing the cleanup for all 69 stars today 😂 going for platinum and got all the story mode trophies but my god are these spec ops challenging
I kind of get the impression you are sick to death of newer games and going back to ones that were actually fun, no political pushing/pandering, were interesting in many aspects, etc. MW2 with the Bluetooth mic was hours of fun online on the PS3.
I just don't like the trend of companies treating games like a product to be profited from instead of a curated experience and art piece. I get that it's a kind of dumb opinion since companies are supposed to make money, but prioritizing profit over all else has pushed the developer focus to multiplayer and microtransactions. And when you leave the single player experience by the wayside you stop considering the interaction between the player and the game, just players with other players. That's why Modern Warfare 2 is still one of my favorite shooters 14 years later, and all of the new shit will be forgotten in a year or two.
@@mintmuffled You’re probably the same age roughly as me. I grew up on Ninja Gaiden, MW2, MGS4; that sort of PS3 era (started with PS2 for Sony but had Dreamcast and N64). Yeah unfortunately entertainment has gone to rubbish.
@@ILoveHoneyBunss MGS2 had plenty of politics but in a way that worked with the story. It wanted the player to question things and use critical thinking rather than pushing a political agenda onto the player.
I played this game back in 2011 and this is bringing back some great memories.
It's one of the better ones for sure

The difficulty spike really sneaks up on you lol. How many stars are you at?
Oh man I remember when I grinded these out with my buddies during the summer. Feels like a lifetime ago.

Saying that games had “no politics” just tells me everything I need to know
