I was sitting here thunderstruck for quite a few moments after the song had ended, jaw strongly attracted by gravity, some tears in my eyes, goosebumps racing around on my back like NASCARs in Talladega. Mariah might have caused similar reactions like this but not all in one song and definitely not in this intensity.

De fapt, am vrut să arunc o privire mai atentă la cântecul meu special cerut pentru emisiunea specială de 1,3 milioane de vizualizări, dar cum întotdeauna îmi las inima să scrie spontan, am ajuns la altceva. 😁
Ceea ce, în retrospectivă, poate că nu a fost o idee rea, deoarece acum pot face o specială de 10.000 de vizualizări (ar trebui să fie gata în următoarele câteva ore 💎❤️)

I actually wanted to take a closer look at my special song request for the 1.3 million views special, but since I always let my heart write spontaneously, something else came out of it. 😁
Which in retrospect was perhaps not a bad idea because I can now do a 10,000 views special (should be ready in the next few hours 💎❤️)
We already know the backstory from the 1.3 million views special, so I can now get straight into my decision for the special song request 😉
When I decided to support Rianna with a song, it was clear to me right from the start that with such a special talent, only the big names could be chosen. Because this way she can show her talent in a different way. The shortlist included artists such as Celine Dion, Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey and Tina Turner.
As you now know, in the end I decided in favour of Mariah Carey with Without You. Because with this song she was able to show what a great vocal range she has 💎❤️ and also how she can convey the emotions perfectly to the listener with her voice and body language. 💎❤️
Of course, I wasn't as surprised as the others when it was released. But it was a great anticipation together with the knowledge that she can show her special talent perfectly and she completely blew me away immediately. 💎❤️
It all started with the beautiful outfit that went perfectly with this song and video. 💎❤️ Plus the perfect vocals right from the start and I was completely under her spell. 😍 Almost 4 minutes of music of the highest quality that you shouldn't miss!
I can't repeat myself often enough what you produced here at the age of 17 is out of this world 💎❤️ and deserves a big portion of extra applause from everyone 👏 👏 👏

Powerful performance! The delicate touch of your upper throat (?) voice and the shift to your chest voice and a few other tricks were marvelous. I wonder how you might sing Linda Ronstadt, Heart, or Karen Carpenter? Billie Holiday, Etta James, or Hadda Brooks? You were made for jazz and blues; but the question is, do you like to sing it?

Badfingers version was not impressive. It lacked emotion. Harry Nilsson’s version is what everyone else copies from.
