It's amazing how so many people complain about Amazon but you know what they have all the stuff you need fast orders and people work there. At least it's creating jobs and it's keeping the economy stimulated. it's amazing no matter what kind of company is and how it treats its employees when it grows big everyone starts to complain I think there's a lot of jealousy going on
Please. This doesn't show half the shit I have to do at Amazon fulfillment. I sort, wrap pallets, take them to outbound trucks, unload trucks. I do it all just so I can earn an honest paycheck.
It's no word about how they deal with damaged parcels or disappeared inventories Amazon sellers sent to Amazon. Absolutely no chance for sellers to find out what's happened with inventory "lost in delivery", we just have to accept these losses. No reimbursement from Amazon. The last case - they did some "private investigation" which "confirmed" that we sent less items than we declared, which is absolute nonsense. Conversation with overseas-based customer service was absolutely useless. So we bear losses after they stole or damaged 1/3 of the stock sent to Amazon
Obviously not everything is perfect with these working conditions. We do work at a very fast pace trying to meet work demands so sometimes those items that were "lost in delivery" could have just not been scanned in or sent to wrong warehouse buildings. Damaged parcels should have not been shipped out and sent straight to the Problem Solve pallet. However, I've known instances where they have not and were still allowed to be shipped as is. It could have been that parcels were damaged while in transit on the 4-wheeler trucks have you thought about that? I'm just saying before complaining about certain things it's better to understand the behind the scenes context of what goes on in Fulfillment Centers.
Good luck man, they just opened up one here in Edwardsville IL a few months ago, and getting ready to open another one, thinking about applying, I have been in a brick and mortar retail store for over 20 years, and this looks like a cool job to have.
lucas Lucas those trucks are most likely loaded about an hour or less I’m sure. You have no clue just how many packages one facility ships just within a day.
I've done the unloading part of Amazon before and I know Amazon puts an even greater pressure on it's outbound operations, so it's plausible that they push the workers to get them loaded that quickly.
There are shifts at amazon that run throughout the whole day. So whoever is working the 11:30 PM to 3:30 AM Shift will most likely handle that package that you ordered at 2:00 AM. Hope that helps!
I heard it thought the grapevine, feel it's newsworthy eyewitness account, of caning of the untouchables overseas, as method of increased productivity. I'm going for a walk
Thank you very much and please do not stop.
Please continue
Many old age peopl and sick helpless peopl are getting benefit

Josh Patterson ... not enough.
John Doe Thank you friend. It means a lot.
It's .50 cents more if you work the night shift so close to $14/hr.
I came here to see what they do vs a sort center and I'm so glad you told the truth!
So what's your point you LOSER...???

Such a different and great experience of working style
Just got hired at the new Braselton Georgia warehouse. If it looks as cool as here on the inside, it'll be awesome working there

Same here, they had an open house last week in Wallingford CT.
Was able to do everything in one hour, now we wait for the "Screening Results".
How's that now ? Still loving it ?
It's a shit job, with low pay, and you're worked like a fucking robot. High turnover and shitty working conditions (no A/C) is commonplace.
One day robots will be worked like robots and you won't have a job at all.
true words battleboy.
Can't wait to start
How's it going?
