The GS temp gauge doesnt rest at half once it is at operating temp, being slightly below half is normal for the 2GR FSE engines. Good video nonetheless!
Thanks for the feedback and comment. I am aware that a majority of vehicles don’t rest at half and are slightly below during normal operating temperature. Sorry if I misspoke on the video however when performing this service they cooling fan using doesn’t kick in until the car gets hotter than half and then it cools it back down to normal location. But you are correct maybe I should have explained it better. Thanks
Marq333 Appreciate it, the car is almost at 90,000+ miles, it wasn’t having any overheating problems or issues but since it was time to replace the coolant I went ahead and replaced the thermostat for good measure. Checked all the hoses and other components also to make sure.
Appreciate you, if you’re using the 50/50 mix you don’t need to add water just buy enough mix to fill the system. If you use a concentrate then you need to dilute with distilled water.
Thank you for the video. Now going to do this same work on my 2014 IS350.
Appreciate your video. We work similarly, that's how I service my vehicles. Keep doing the good job, and enjoy your GS
Appreciate the kind words, same to you!

@@zionracingteam6688 great response 🤝
What a fantastic idea, a spigot to drain the coolant system, I don’t know how common that is ?
Great Video mate ! Please do more videos on GS 350 like all maintenance items. Also is this same engine in the is 350 2016?
Appreciate the comment, it should be the same engine.
will do this when i get at that 90-95k thanks great video
wait youre using the red coolant? in my gs its got and always had, the pink super long life premix
wow amazing ! ! very helpful information
Great helpful vid! I have a 2015 GS350 F Sport. At what mileage does this car have now that it needs to have the thermostat replaced?

@@zionracingteam6688 ok cool. This is a great vid. I have this exact car. Keep them coming.
unrelated but same exact car, did you have any issues with your performance rotors and ceramic brakes squeaking after replacing
also, i bought 50/50 prediluted long life coolant but the color is pink. is that the same as your red coolant since yours is concentrated?
OMG yes I did, I actually had to go back to factory pads and rotors to make it stop, it was too annoying!
Beautiful car. Thanks for your work. Will this coolant procedure work for an 07 Avalon 2grfe engine? mix the 50/50 coolant with distilled water ?

@@zionracingteam6688 okay thank you 🙏🏾
What is that cover under the car called?
incomplete video! should show the rest of the steps on plugging the coolant cap, removing the funnel, etc.
Appreciate the feedback, pretty new to making videos and I’m doing it alone so it’s hard to capture everything. Thanks!
