This reality is why I LOVE South Florida !! ... Between early November and late April only. I'd rather have Bugs fly into my mouth while riding a Motorcycle than just standing on the ground. 😊
These videos must be time consuming to put together...just know there are people out there, like myself, that really love them. Thank you, from Clemson, SC!
Love your videos as always! Your series taking the boat to FL was so inspiring! I've got young kids, so hours on a boat can get a little boring for them. A compromise is buying a leopard 464 pc through the Moorings yacht charter program. We're under contract and should close next month! Wouldn't have pulled the trigger without the inspiration from your videos
Had a 2006 341 Meridian with Cummins Diesels. Made the trip through the locks and to the west coast many times on vacation with friends. Stayed at Roland and Martins each time. Fun place. Went to Dry Tortugas and spent the night also on one of the trips. An amazing place. Was a good boat except couldn’t keep the thrusters operating . The 9KW Onan had 2400 hours on when we sold the boat. That kept us cool and comfortable. Happy boating
Hands down, that was the best line of the video. "I need my anchor cleaner..... Brigitt!?!" It looks like y'all are truly having an adventure. Stay safe and keep the great videos coming! C & G.
I keep checking for your next installment. As a newer boat owner, I enjoy your insight as well as seeing how you navigate topics as a couple. Keep em coming!
Middle of Florida can get a little brutal in the summer.im sure your enjoying the AC in that Salon. The deeper you get-you may start hearing that “Deliverance” banjo music in the distance-LOL Just smile and wave and bust out a couple of”Y-ALLS” and it’ll be just fine.Hope the critters don’t invade you anymore
Am so glad your channel popped up on my TH-cam feed. We live in Cape Coral but don’t have a boat. However, it’s so much fun to see what local boaters do here and where they go. This is the first heard of the mini loop. This is very cool. Can’t wait to see the rest of your trip. 👍🌴
Those two yahoo's in the race boats are infamous in that stretch. Their antics for the last few months have caused serious wave damage to several boats and docks. Ask me how I know...
Very informative and well-thought out video with your spreadsheet info...I feel like I'm right there with you. I like the idea of spending the night docked with the AC plugged in and watching TV, cooking on the grill and having coffee with the Keurig in the morning. At some point, I would like to do that crossing but not sure how our boat would do. Your yacht seems so much more spacious! Congrats on all of the subscribers...You earned them.
Beware of the horseflies at the Moorehaven lock we got inundated with them and they bite. Also, the city dock at Moorehaven is nice for an easy pull in pull out but don’t get there too early because there is absolutely nothing to do in that town you’re gonna be on your boat hanging at the dock I just came through there a few weeks ago. It’s almost worth continuing onto Rowan Martin’s resort.
My wife and I walked nearly 2 1/2 miles throughout that town and there was nothing to be had as far as a restaurants we got to the Dollar General store and ended up eating snacks. There used to be a barbecue restaurant only about four blocks from the docks that would’ve been nice, but it closed down, it is definitely in the middle of nowhere.
Lots O Bugs, yuk. They have some mini leaf blowers for them and morning dew. Matey looks great. Squirrels beware. Admiral doing great Boatswain Mate work. Would love to see her in a vest when on that bow and at the locks, you just never know.
@@AdventuresofHappyOurs Very cool. I saw the pack but thought it was maybe makeup or Matey treats. Show it off to us if you get a chance. We had the PFD vests that auto inflate. So nice and easy to move around in. Stay safe.
Are you traveling at your chosen speed? Or could you get on plane if you wanted to? Matey is a great dog. Good travel companion. Great video. Too bad Moore Haven is so quiet.
Great Series so far Captain. Quick question regarding power, are you running your generator the whole time, inverter? I have a 2009 391 Meridian and am looking to make same trip next year 2025. Florida heat and sun can be brutal.
We only run the generator when needed. Usually at night. About 12 hours for the AC when sleeping and making dinner and breakfast. During day we bear the heat and enjoy it. Swim, etc.
Loving this series, thankyou all for this 👍 Like that Brijitt gave you a hard time about the cheap dock too, lol. Did you get anywhere for dinner, though? Enquiring minds want to know...
I just came across your channel. Cool videos! How long have you owned this vessel? Did you ever have it at MM Venice? Name and logo seems familiar. I went across Fl when I purchased our house boat in Ga. Brought it down ICW east coast then across the state now floats on mooring ball at Laishley Marina PGI. Was a 9 day trip getting it here.
Had her since 2019. Brought her down from NY on a 5 week trip to Cape Coral. Got all that on videos too. We never were at MM but took her to Venice last year for the 4th at Snake Island (more videos lol)
Gee. I didn't realize it would take your boat 7 hours to go from Franklin Locks to Moore Heaven. Its kind of like going down a wide ditch? The natural flow of the river had lots of turns in it. Like you noticed the water ways coming off the sides. The turns in the river would have been nature's way of slowing the flow and to filter the water. Man straightened to make the trip faster and more convenient. Man can hurt the environment. I helped someone move their sailboat across the same way. We went lots slower with a sailboat. We moved the sailboat to Palm Beach Gardens. The big boats on the water ways on the East Coast are very inconsiderate when it comes to wakes. Look out. Enjoy. It's great you have air-conditioning.

Thank you. I enjoy bringing them to you!
LE from PA here. Appreciate you flying the thin blue line.
Nice video captain Tom! My parent's live in Moore Haven, I will let them know that Bridget expected a pool with restaurant accommodations.😂

Wish we had diesels! What speed you get from them?
@@AdventuresofHappyOurs We got 20 knots WOT with a clean bottom
Always wanted to make that trip. I enjoy traveling with you. Safe travels
You guys are great very classy. enjoy your trip. 😘
Great job! Love the numbers at the end of the day! Thanks for all your work creating the content!

congrats on the channel!

Thanks. We should have a new episode every few days or so.
Admiral, You have a dock, water , electric, cheap rates, easy to walk Matey, you can all go walking. Did you want a nail salon nearby??

Those bugs get in a half inch gap, but you open every dang window the whole way and they can't get out
Keep smiling!! Nice that your subscribers are increasing.
So much fun, awesome video as usual.
Your anchor cleaner and your dishwasher 🎉🎉🎉

I enjoy your videos i like how you shows us what's what while cruising your way. Thank you for sharing.
Water looks Great👍. Wow, my brother once lived in, LaBelle? Quite the thriving metropolis 😂🤣. I hope the weather treats ya well👍👍
Looks like so much fun. Great Adventure.
Wonderful video! I enjoyed the relaxed vibe. Safe travels guys.
Looks like a great trip .

Can't wait for you guys to hit the ICW and head south. What a great trip, thanks for sharing.

Thank you! Any boat can do it!
Enjoy the docking beer Captain, when you hit the intercostal there will be a ton of restaurant’s. Don’t know about pools though
We’re finding we haven’t stopped at one restaurant yet. Call us cheap or lazy. Or maybe just fat. We have so much food on the boat.
Great journey. 👍👍👍
I love when I can have a celebratory beer or as I call them victory beers

Moore Haven was perfect. Quiet and free electric! Next time we’ll do Roland Martin.
My wife and I walked nearly 2 1/2 miles throughout that town and there was nothing to be had as far as a restaurants we got to the Dollar General store and ended up eating snacks. I love an calm uneventful day!!
Enjoy the trip! All the best for you guys from Porto Portugal.
A dewalt battery powered blower would be perfect to get those bugs out of there
Lots O Bugs, yuk. They have some mini leaf blowers for them and morning dew. Matey looks great. Squirrels beware. Admiral doing great Boatswain Mate work. Would love to see her in a vest when on that bow and at the locks, you just never know.
I was thinking a leak blower or hair dryer. Lol. Brigitt is wearing a pfd. It’s the fanny pack inflatable type.

Matey is a great dog. Good travel companion.
Great video. Too bad Moore Haven is so quiet.
We can get on plane if we wanted too but slow is our speed and much more affordable.
Have you tried a cordless leaf blower on the bugs?
Didn’t carry that along for ride. Lol

Technical question,,,how far forward does the depth finder see beyond the bow…if at all.
Mine just looks straight down.
And pink mold is on the bottom
If you are talking about the eisenglass, It’s sun burnt on the bottom. Cracking and old. Original from 2006.
Loving this series, thankyou all for this 👍
Like that Brijitt gave you a hard time about the cheap dock too, lol.
Did you get anywhere for dinner, though?

We stayed cheap and ate on boat. Lol. Too long a walk for pizza.

Is your canvas specially the vinyl windows neŵ after Ian of had you removed all your canvas before Ian? Either was there verry cloudy
It’s all original canvas. We usually don’t even have the windows up but with all the rain lately, we’re living with it.

We like going slow. It costs less and get to smell the roses. Lol
Moving on up to the big time. Soon, you will be paying for your excursions with TH-cam.
Is that noise the air flow from the AC?
Likely it’s the boat pushing through water or wind. Don’t run gen or AC during day.
So,,,,,, what did you guys do for dinner??????
Probably pasta again. Lol
No life vest when locking thru?
She has an inflatable Danny pack style.
Isn’t Bridget worth more than a $1.00 a foot…lol
Don’t start trouble. Lol
