- Natsuki's version of the Protagonist's second track, "You and Me"!
This is quite possibly one of my favorite songs I've composed for Doki Doki Takeover, maybe even ever.
The team was heavily inspired by anime openings, and endings, and because this is the last major story song, we wanted to make sure we gave you something truly special.
I want to give the biggest "thank you" to Haruka, who you all may know as @GGalactigal . She was the composer of the original Monika week, and she's also the lead composer of our sister mod, HoloFunk!
Haruka helped out immensely with this song, with mixing/mastering, as well as vocal composition. She was able to truly capture the vibe of each respective Doki, across all versions, an to watch her at work was amazing. You and Me wouldn't exist without Haruka.

What’s really cool about the “You and Me” song is if you put it on mirror mode you get a funny and secret message since the first part of the song is MC and there isn’t anyone playing against him at the beginning. The message reads as follows: “Your going to have to wait a while” which I think is kinda hilarious.
And also choosing mirror mode is free easy way to get Blue Skies protag costume since u just need to leave game be to lose and get free costume :D

Also in Epiphany mirror mode you're required to hit Markov notes,they dont instakill on miss but they count as normal notes and so u gonna die if u miss them in FC Only sudden death
@@skell6134 don't they deal extra damage if you miss compared to a regular note

Natsuki’s vocals compliment MC’s really nice actually in here, i’m still not sure which one of these are my favorite but i guess we will just wait and see!
Natsuki has pretty hyperactive and fast vocals and MC is just can compliment that with his way of singing
In terms of voice Sayori and Monika are pretty much best,Sayori voice with Natsuki mix would work good tho :D
2:42 natsuki voces is a reference to a part of HOME in ddto bad ending
To be honest, Natsuki would've the last choice I make, as I didn't really understand why people liked her at the time. But now looking back at the DDLC lore and understanding Natsuki more, she grew to be one my favorite characters.
My favorite Doki in the DDLC is Sayori because she's always trying to cheer the others up!

I mean,Sayori is nice ofcourse,she is cute and also pretty relatable but she got enough of her own flaws
Yeah, there’s a huge list of ways her life was ruined in act 2.
@@skell6134 was she power hungry tho? Pretty sure she just went insane. But yeah, Sayori isn't all happy, and isn't all sad. She seems to exist right in the middle on average, but really just being both extremes at different times

This song is amazing. Most mods feel the need to make their climactic song have some sort of final boss vibe, but I love this take much more. This truly feels like a sendoff. DDTO will always be one of the best mods.

Our Harmony did sound like final send off too tho :D
Eh, a final boss vibe wouldn’t fit as there is no big boss. Besides a faux dating visual novel needed a fitting end song that reflected its trickery.
@@littlebabyman8494 The only final boss here pretty much is either Libitina or DDLC Monika(one which is self-aware,not one which is normally in the mod)
Yeah, looking back at this, what I said wasn't entirely right. I hadn't actually played all of the mod while writing the original comment. I wouldn't call this the climax of the mod per se, but it is one of the several songs that feel like a send off. Plus, this mod isn't really in need of a "final boss"-esque song, it's a celebration of DDLC. Although, playing through the mod myself definitely made me love both the song and the mod itself even more.

Yep! MC's intro is the same each time, but in each version, the vocals will change, to have melodies unique to each specific girl.
@@HighPoweredKeyz Wait i never noticed that until i listened to Natsuki's mix. when i fisrt played i went for my girl Monika then went straight to Yuri's mix on my second playthrough. i did not notice the differences and it is so cool that you could even pull that off in the game!! and they all sound so good!
