Gosh, I have been using the iPhone since the 3GS and have been an iPhone user since. However, looking at what the S24 Plus offers, it takes a lot of thought to decide what to get. I bought the iPhone 15 Pro and took it back in a week because I could not justify the price for its use. Now this phone comes along, and now more confusion. I decided to wait for the 16 Pro, but now this phone has come along, and I am fit to be tied. I wish the S24 had an OS remotely similar to Apple's IOS because that is the bottom line: Android vs. Apple. It seems that the S24 Plus is so ahead of the curve in performance. However, you cannot compare Apple IOS to Android since the operating systems are entirely different and behave differently.
Stop beating about the bush about which one's gonna last more. It's obviously the S24 Plus with 7 years OS/Security updates.
I use both, love both because they have their benefits. I love my s24 plus on how I can customize the OS. My iPhone I love how simple the OS is.
I'm still on the s20 ultra. This phone is the overbuilt model of the whole 20 and up series of Galaxies. 20 ultra has SD card expansion which takes a load on the software, but I don't give a shit. I love the SD card. The new S21 to S24 has no SD card which makes it fast like an iPhone, but I don't care for speed. I like customization better. Hopefully, Samsung is bringing it back for the S25 ... If not I'm going to Sony Xperia as my new phone of choice. 🤷🏽♂️ Sony has 3.5mm jack, SD expansion and the best of all ... NO FRONT CAMERA INTERRUPTED SCREEN !!! Yes it is slightly narrow, but then again video formats still fit in the narrowing space on wider phones anyway and the narrowing screen makes one hand use easy 🤷🏽♂️

My area only has exy in s24 ans s24+. I'm debating if it's worth the buy. The snap is obviously a better chip set.

I think this is why I will stick with iphone. They give the pro smaller size everything. All small android phones get the middle finger
Ok so first off, i tried the s24 series side by side with my s21 fe today. And may i say that Samsung has finally disappointed me. The s24 phones are all great, but if its one thing i value most in a phone, its the camera. The s24 camera was so oversharpened and overprocessed that the pictures weren't even natural looking anymore. My s21 still picked up background text while the s24 was too overprocessed that the text was all bloomed and distorted. I might actually consider an iphone 15 pro now

I just upgraded from the iPhone 13 pro max and so happy I did. Feels so nice to have freedom again. iPhone was super nice. And was a great device but I'm having a lot of fun experimenting with all of the cool features. I wish the s24 ultra wasn't so ugly and square. I would have gotten that.
The s24 will last longer since samsung mentioned os updates support for 7 years. Thats like buying a new samsung when they come out with the s31

This is not an appropriate comparison. The S24 (regular) should be compared with the iPhone 15 Pro, and the S24 Plus should be compared with the iPhone 15 Pro Max. The S24 Ultra watches all the comparisons from the top of the mountain.

There is nothing to compare iPhone is just a social status thing of how much money you can throw away. Android is when you do business or just want to use the phone for practical stuff

Right in part, in the years samsung and iPhone's phones prices have become almost the same, and though Iphone is still for most people a "social status thing", what isn't true is the fact that "you choose android when u do business or use your phone for practical stuff" 'cause iPhone is incredibly smooth for practical stuff and also for "business" (I didn't get what you mean), and that's one of the reason people prefer iPhone, because is simply smoother and easier to use
IOS users doesn't really know that Android prefer the scroll way... On Android you control the scroll speed with yourself... You can scroll fast, slow or smoot depending on your need. Its not fixed, Noob!!!
My choice is SGS24+. The reason is that iOS is now far behind Android i.e. one application can be run at a time only. Comparing the dsign SGS24+ from my perspective looks a little bit better.

Idk how people say the iphone is still better, its literally worse in every category except like video? But lets be real most people barely use their cameras and when they do 99% of those photos never get uploaded. As well oneui is so smooth now and offers way more so apple os doesnt even really have that edge. And not only is the samsung better, you can get the price of it for like 40% less than the iphone.
