Welcome to my TerraFirmaGreg series. A nice "little" modpack centered around TerraFirmaCraft, GregTech, Create, AppliedEnergistics, and Gregicality Rocketry. Let's just have a good time and enjoy some modded Minecraft together.

for the fruit tree saplings, Hold a knife in the offhand, and plant 4 in one block. you'll get a bigger tree out of it
Just tested it! I had no clue, thanks! I think I'll keep it as is and get more saplings after harvest season then replant with the bigger trees.
You gonna love mine cart contraptions for cutting trees. But, just enjoy the proces in the mean time
Is that with create? I'm going to have to learn that entire mod pretty quickly soon.
@@Flurben the mod is not really hard, as long as you take enough space and prebuilt, sneak rmb with the wrench to pick things up. The mod has a lot of bells and whistles and might be a bit costly to enter, but is very interesting when you set up your first fan smelter(s), washer(s), press and mixer. Extra credits if you set up a nice stylized crafting nook
Woo hoo, new episode! Love the factoid on Cenotes! Those underwater caves are just absolutely stunning. Excited to see some crop planting, too. It's something I've yet to do myself and I'm excited to plant alongside you to learn.
I tested out farming in another world and it seems pretty simple, just different. I think the hardest part will be waiting until harvest.
What config file did you changed for food extended lifetime?? i found ones for days in month and tempatures

100% that’s the one! Stopping decay altogether didn’t work for me, instead if you want it can be set to something like 0.00001

On Terrafirma versions you can craft a vanila bucket to transfer water and lava with blue and/or red iron if my memory serves me… can’t you on TFG? Thanks for the content, I’m always excited when a new video comes up.. loving this serie!!!
Yes! It is still a thing in TFG thankfully. However, that will take at least another 10 episodes before we get to that level :P
You can but its very towards the end of the Age's progression. Unless you find a lot of food that stores well youll need to plant stuff before that point.

How did you change from Celcius to Fahrenheit?
It’s in the tfc-client.config file. There’s a line there for setting the temperature display. Although the entire rest of the game and guides are based on Celsius so I eventually changed it back.

Heya, been watching your series for a bit now, playing alongside you as while I did play GTNH, Terrafirma Craft is foreign to me, I noticed a few subtle things that are different in my game to yours. I like how you have the time and day displayed under the map, as well as how the lights work, I got the shaderpack that is public, but the torches do not light up for me. Also curious what version you are playing on, I suspect it is the newer minecraft version given the swimming, but I also know it can be backported. I do want to change the month cycle and food cycle to yours as well, is it a config option? Thanks for the series, very few people who speak english play through it, so I can never really understand what is going on. Loving the calm vibes

The mod Dynamic Lights might be what you're looking for... It's included in the pack but you may have it disabled?
No need to install the Patreon version of Complementary anymore, in the past it was the only version that supported Distant Horizons but now the public version does this.
This modpack is on MC version 1.20.1, I know there is a mod but not sure which one it is to backport the swimming mechanics.
Yes! It's a config option in the tfc-common.toml file. It'll apply for all new world, for existing worlds you'll need to use a command /time set monthlength...
Sam config file for the food decay, no changes need to be made in-game with commands.

@GamingOnTheSpectrumGR you might find the option in another one of the configs titled tfc. Tfc-client.toml maybe? I’m not at my computer to check but let me know if you find it!
@@Flurben It's not there, but it is fine, it is an added challenge. I'll have plenty of time anyways with the adjusted seasons. Thanks for the help regardless! I know you must get a lot of questions, being the first TerraFirmaGreg player who fits a calmer play-style, the second being Dragonium, which I am watching now to see their perspective. You two both have promising content creation paths, I think I would watch a lot of whatever you put out even if it was not this modpack, as your calm, yet humorous mindsets makes you just an awesome person to watch in general.
