The reply feature wasn’t working so I’ll answer your question here... That’s actually a really good question, and I had to watch it again to think about it! Because there were so many takeaways that i realized what I really need to do is take notes! Yesterday after watching, I jumped onto your Canva tutorial video, because I’ve been using the free version ever since I first heard you recommend Canva. There are so many features that I still haven’t used, I’d forgotten about those! And in this video, from the color contrasting, to using Canva photos for ideas, to the emotion wheel chart, this video is so chock-full I really do need to sit down and take notes and not just be watching during breakfast! You really deliver quality tutorials! 😊🙏🏼💖

Your explanation about poses makes getting good thumbnails to seem attainable. I would not want to do goofy selfy poses as that does not seem professional. Your recommendations show us that we can make many great professional thumbnails we wouldn't be ashamed to represent us. I appreciate your giving us guidelines about what the poses should be. Thank you for this video! I never thought of using Canva for examples of facial expressions! Now I'm like....well, DUH! Thank you. I have a channel that is all about Chihuahuas, so I want one of each of my three Chihuahuas in my thumbnail pictures, not sure how I'm going to do that yet, but your tips are great!!
Great information! How do you get a soft white outline around your body? I notice you have it on several thumbnails. I’ve only ever been able to find photoshop tutorials on that. Can you do it on Canva pro? (Which I have.)

To be honest, it's not more important than the content. But being on brand does add to the recognizability and memorability of your channel.

Yes that deck really helps with expressions!! I do not match the video's outfit to the thumbnail outfits - it's not necessary to do that.

Yes you can absolutely do this in Canva Pro using the Glow effect. I demonstrate this in the video at around the 11:19 mark
