I am sorry but I had to laugh at you with the snow coming down you saying do you see it 😂. Can you tell I live in a snow belt area in up state NY we are having a huge snow storm as I am texting this to you. It is pretty when it’s falling but not fun when you have to shovel 3 feet of it etc::: . Bless your heart to be excited about it. O yes I love that home and that bed omg .I would get excited to see the homes in your area I love history about the huge homes with white pilers. ❤❤❤I’ll switch with you lol.
I’m a Memphis old lady missing all the snow, I’m in Orlando babysitting furry children for granddaughter while she is skiing in Co. I love all your videos and have been following you before you moved from Louisiana. Congratulations,on your great accomplishments.
Ohio here ... Hasn't had any measurable snow this winter so far ... But at the moment it's only 5° ... Love that you were enjoying the nature ... That home was amazing for the age !!!
I was eating homemade chicken and potato soup watching the blizzard here in Ontario Canada. Snow swirling and blowing sideways as well. I think its funny watching your excitement....because it dissipates quickly when you have to go outside to shovel especially when the plows dump the mother load at the end of your driveway. Nevermind the already foot in the driveway before the plow kills your back for the rest of the week. But you are cute lol.😅😅😅
And then there were 3! Northwestern Ontario here. Snow was late getting here but it's here to stay now and absolutely freezing the last couple of days. I too got a kick out of Julie getting excited over snow lol.
Julie, we just got 14 1/2 inches of snow where I live in WI and now the Temps are -2° F for a high, with windchill factors are 26° below zero! I'm shocked they closed down the sale for a few snow flurries, but I understand you may not have equipment to help you deal with snow where you live. ❤ Love all the books you got and love your enthusiasm for the snow. Where I live we are so over it!
I’m in Iowa and in the last two snowfalls ( 18-20 inches not sure with all the dang blowing) I am so over the snow and cold temps. But it is funny how something we end up hating , others can enjoy.
I got so tickled about you and the snow! I live in Arkansas just 30 minutes from downtown Memphis and we have been getting snow all afternoon and we are supposed to get 2 to 4 inches before it ends, and we only get one or two a year normally. That was an awesome estate sale and I can see you going back. Hope your kids enjoy having fun in the snow Julie!
I live in New.Jersey and if you get one or two snowfalls a year then you get more then we do here anymore. We used to get a couple snowfalls a year but we haven't had a good bought of snow in 2-3 years 😢
I'm from south Texas so we react the same way about snow, but since the last snow storm, we are not so excited for it anymore.... but it is so gorgeous!!!
Snow?! That's flaking or flurries here in Northern Illinois 😅 You were so cute about the snow! Can't believe they ended the sale over that! The differences in parts of our country are amazing-even in our accents.
Beautiful old home with lots of treasures but being a South Carolina girl with hardly ever any snow I just loved seeing the snow falling….wishing that we get some before winter is over❄️
Hi Julie! First off the snow IS so pretty!! Then the house-oh my!!! So many fun things in there! I'm with some here-I would have snatched up alot of those pecan sacks, I think I'll use that back house as my sewing "room" 🤣🤣
Hey, I completely understand. I’m a Florida girl that lives in the mountains of North Carolina & I get so excited every time the weather report says possible snow. It is exciting & yes gorgeous when you don’t have to go anywhere. Hope you get a lot tomorrow. Have fun, stay warm & be safe. ❄️🥶❄️🥶❄️🥶❄️🥶❄️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Here in Iowa we got over 10 inches of snow and with the windchill our temperature is minus 14 degrees. If you want to experience winter you can visit Iowa
I'm in Washington state and we just got a little dusting too, our temperatures have been in the teens and low 20's for a few days now, I'm so ready for the temps to go up. Loved your excitement seeing the snow, Love the snow, just not a fan of the cold.
I grew up in GA and understand the excitement of the snow but now living in MO for a while - we definitely see our fair share of snow and recently below zero temps so it’s no longer as exciting 🤣 enjoy your snow.
It is 7degrees and we were dumped on last night. The snow is knee calf deep. Hubby plowed with the 1949 Farm all we have had since we were young married. We are north west Pa. And the Steeler game got delayed until Mon. as it is in Buffalo. They get deep snow. It is bitter cold out. My booth did exceptionally well the past few weeks. I am in need of some vintage! Heading to a local charity sale on Sat. I am looking for mismatched creamers and sugars. I do assemblages and floral arrangements. That house looks like a movie set! Oh, wouldn't I give to see it in it's hay day. Sipping iced tea on the porch cracking pecans.
We had blizzard conditions over the weekend here in Omaha Nebraska. anywhere from 4-12 inches of snow, high winds, white out conditions and now wind chills of 20-40 below zero. I am officially done with winter lol, But you had me worried when you said you got kicked out of the sale.... that looks like it was great fun.
I wish I could be that excited about snow but after 3 storms and 21 inches last week and now subzero temps here we've had a rough week in Wisconsin, thankfully my company observes MLK Day so I can stay home in my jammies! That was a great sale, maybe they will reopen next week, a lot left
We live in West Texas and rarely ever get snow, but I’m with you. I love it, and I get so excited whenever it does. We’ve had really cold arctic air the last couple days here like many areas of the country have which I truly don’t mind, however, I’d like it a lot better if we’d get some snow like other areas are. I’m much older than you are I sure, but I still love the snow and the absolute beauty it gives everything. It just creates such agorgeî winter wonderland that I love! I hope y’all have fun and really enjoy it tomorrow.
Ummm….no thanks to the snow on a day to day. This SoCal girl is fine just visiting the local mountains when I get that urge for cold and snow. lol Great estate sale though. Wish you had more time there as it looked like lots of good stuff. That player piano was so cool!
That nothing we just got 15 inches of snow and it’s 12 degrees, only had 2 days of school last week and are closed again tomorrow in Michigan ⛄️⛄️⛄️🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🥰
I'm chuckling at your reaction to a few flurries. We got 10 inches yesterday and now the air temp is 0* and the feels like is -15*. Typical Wisconsin day in January.
I was born in San Antonio, TX but have lived mostly in Central FL. I lived in NJ & WA as a young girl, my dad was in the USAF. Married a USN man & lived in MD, CT NY(Saratoga Springs) and SC, even had snow in Charleston area. My current husband(30yrs) has never lived outside of FL, He has seen snow while we were visiting our youngest son in the NC mountains, he couldn't get back to FL fast enough. LOL😂
Im from Iowa and absolutely hate the snow. Sorry but we deal with so much of it every year and its just not pretty anymore except for the first 1 - 2 inches than thats it. It is right now -20 below and windchill of -45 below so hate winter. Glad you got kicked out cause of the snow. Dont take people long there to shut things down cause of snow. We had 2 days of a blizzard here and places still didnt shut down but then we are used to it.
I’m originally from Alberta, Canada, where it’s winter in some form 8 months of the years lol. Trust me dealing with it is one thing; but it’s currently -46 degrees with the wind chill, believe me when I say THAT’s not fun, although kids don’t seem to mind it, and school NEVER gets cancelled! lol
Did you get good deals? my my nephew told me that in Florida anymore you can't get good deals at Estate Sales, and prices are high and a lot of people. He said that years ago things were better. Mom used to tell me that old books can be worth a lot of money. a bookstore 30 minutes away from me in PA sells old books on ebay for a lot. thrifting I had sometimes the best luck at Salvation Army. all of the Volunteers of America thrift stores closed around here. problem with Salvation Army is a lot of people donate broken electronics. you have to try and test items if you can at the store. I returned the broken stereo once, but still wanted the JBl Northridge speakers, so I paid so much for them. I think 10 or 20 for the pair. when Best buy used to sell them new many yearsago, they were several hundred bucks. do you have a best thriftem item over the years? Goodwill was hit or miss on some stuff. i got a working stereo receiver once, video games and some vintage stuff. Goodwill I always thought as more expensive. got good vinyl records another time in good condition.
This type of estate sale is sometimes called a tag sale. They usually organize and price everything and people walk through and shop. Some that I have been to have long lines before they begin on the first day. Sales usually last 2 or 3 days.
That machine looked like a wood lathe. My husband just bought an old one from a high school wood shop. They were getting rid of their shop class. Which makes me sad. Even as a girl I liked shop class.
We are getting the word out about you guys filming at our sales even when the sign reads you can't
Im a Louisiana girl way older than you Julie and I STILL get so excited when we get to see snow here in Louisiana. Stay warm girlie!
I laughed so hard when you said "look at all the snow". Where I'm from we would say "thank god it didnt snow" when we saw that
I am sorry but I had to laugh at you with the snow coming down you saying do you see it 😂. The furniture in that house was amazing! ♡
The house is so beautiful it stops my heart! Owning that would be a dream❤️
I kept waiting to find out why you were kicked out, as your title says. You WEREN’T!
I was eating homemade chicken and potato soup watching the blizzard here in Ontario Canada. Snow swirling and blowing sideways as well. Also from Ontario and agree with you! Our last dump was what I call heart-attack snow because you know it weighs a ton.
And then there were 3! Northwestern Ontario here. Snow was late getting here but it's here to stay now and absolutely freezing the last couple of days. I too got a kick out of Julie getting excited over snow lol.
I saw those pecan bags and immediately thought you would grab them and make Christmas stockings out of them!
Oh, whew! So glad it was the weather that got you kicked out! I thought someone was being mean to you. I was ready to put on the boxing gloves! 😂
Julie, we just got 14 1/2 inches of snow where I live in WI and now the Temps are -2° F for a high, with windchill factors are 26° below zero! I can totally remember freaking about the snow!! Living in Indiana now, kinda used to it, but it still never ceases to amaze me with its beauty.
Snow?! That's flaking or flurries here in Northern Illinois 😅 You were so cute about the snow! Can't believe they ended the sale over that! The differences in parts of our country are amazing-even in our accents.
As I you may know from my many previous comments, I live in east coastal Texas. This afternoon (Monday) we have freezing rain......Stay safe and warm.
Beautiful old home with lots of treasures but being a South Carolina girl with hardly ever any snow I just loved seeing the snow falling….wishing that we get some before winter is over❄️
I'm in Northern Ontario canada and we had no snow for Christmas then within a week we got pretty much over 5 feet worth of storms 😂 pretty!
Hi Julie! First off the snow IS so pretty!! Then the house-oh my!!! So many fun things in there! I'm with some here-I would have snatched up alot of those pecan sacks, I think I'll use that back house as my sewing "room" 🤣🤣

The snow is beautiful, thanks for sharing stay safe and have a blessed day. 👍
It is so funny to hear your enthusiasm for the snow. Here in the Midwest, it would be “oh, no, more snow!” I hope you got enough to go sledding.
Great finds however I don’t share your enthusiasm for the snow!😂
The house & contents were amazing, such a beautiful place.I would of loved to buy from there❤loved all what you bought.Enjoy the snow🌨❄
Love you and I never comment but it’s adorable how excited you are about what we call a “dusting” of snow here in New England!
haha, I was excited but we are on day 6 and I am over it!!
The piano ❤️the tile in the bathroom❤️I could go on and on.
Julie…What a beautiful estate….love watching your thrifting adventures …you are just beautiful in & out!
I'm in Washington state and we just got a little dusting too, our temperatures have been in the teens and low 20's for a few days now, I'm so ready for the temps to go up. Loved your excitement seeing the snow, Love the snow, just not a fan of the cold.
You Louisiana lighweights!! Michigan gal here who cannot believe they shut it down with so little snow!
I grew up in GA and understand the excitement of the snow but now living in MO for a while - we definitely see our fair share of snow and recently below zero temps so it’s no longer as exciting 🤣 enjoy your snow.
What a great home and such great items!!! Those old books are awesome and primitives!!
Have a wonderful time in the snow!❤
I'm in Colorado where we are in the single digits or below. Love everything you picked up. All of the books love them

Hello from Norfolk, NE!👋🏻
This was so interesting, thanks for sharing your estate sale shopping trip!
I wish I could be that excited about snow but after 3 storms and 21 inches last week and now subzero temps here we've had a rough week in Wisconsin, thankfully my company observes MLK Day so I can stay home in my jammies! That was a great sale, maybe they will reopen next week, a lot left

I'm in Abilene & pretty frigid here right now!
👋 Julie, I love that antique bedroom set. It would look perfect in my bedroom. Enjoy the snow.🤎
You should have picked up the James Whitcomb Riley books.
Ummm….no thanks to the snow on a day to day. This SoCal girl is fine just visiting the local mountains when I get that urge for cold and snow. lol Great estate sale though. Wish you had more time there as it looked like lots of good stuff. That player piano was so cool!
Oh it started storming! Lol I didn’t guess right at all!
That was my kind of estate sale! I'm so glad you only got kicked out because of the snow! lol!
The snow is beautiful. I think it's headed towards us next in Alabama
It's fun to see people get excited about snow. I have lived all my life in Ohio and I have to tell you: I'd be happy to send all my snow to you.
Is the house being sold? I hope not torn down. I just found you. Love your videos. The books made me drool.
That nothing we just got 15 inches of snow and it’s 12 degrees, only had 2 days of school last week and are closed again tomorrow in Michigan ⛄️⛄️⛄️🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🥰

That's more snow then what we have had. And we love in Northern indiana!
The books❤❤ what a great estate.
It snowed in in Las Vegas the night before last. It's been colder here than NYC.
I saw so much stuff I would have bought. I would have taken all the pecan sacks for sure!
You have about as much as we have here in northeast Ohio! Enjoy!😊
Loved the wooden drill bit holder!
I'm a girl born and raised on the west coast. I would be freaking out about the snow too. LOL
I love snow too!! Enjoy!!🥰☃️
I was born in San Antonio, TX but have lived mostly in Central FL. I lived in NJ & WA as a young girl, my dad was in the USAF. Forget the fireplace, I what that bed
And we got 8" this morning....
Business as usual.
But we do have the greatest snow on earth....
We live in Pa and we have gotten a lot of snow these past couple days. It’s also about 20 degrees and with the wind chill it’s like -10 degrees.
I live in Western New York.If only you could see the snow we’ve been blasted with for the past 2 day’s you’d really freak out.🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️
That fireplace is to die for ❤
James shit come Riley is a poet that is from Greenfield In. I would love those.
I’m originally from Alberta, Canada, where it’s winter in some form 8 months of the years lol. Trust me dealing with it is one thing; but it’s currently -46 degrees with the wind chill, believe me when I say THAT’s not fun, although kids don’t seem to mind it, and school NEVER gets cancelled! lol
Watching from Tennessee.. probably got 2 1/2 inches and still snowing hard !!
We have 2 feet of it and will share. It's -14 with a wind chill of -30. I hate snow. We are in Iowa so we have winter.
Did you get good deals? my my nephew told me that in Florida anymore you can't get good deals at Estate Sales, and prices are high and a lot of people. He said that years ago things were better. We just got 21" in Iowa!🙈
Very nice house full of goodies!
Loved the porch and yard
I’ve never been to an estate sale but for some reason I always thought they “auctioned” everything off.
This type of estate sale is sometimes called a tag sale. They usually organize and price everything and people walk through and shop. Some that I have been to have long lines before they begin on the first day. Sales usually last 2 or 3 days.
Wish you had more time in that house, it looked promising. Are the old piano scrolls worth anything? Went to an estate sale today that had a bunch.
Stay warm and safe.
If you want some more snow, you can take the 12 inches that fell at my house the last couple of days in WI. 😂 No, really take it. I don't want it.
That machine looked like a wood lathe. My husband just bought an old one from a high school wood shop. They were getting rid of their shop class. Which makes me sad. Even as a girl I liked shop class.
We live in pontotoc. It's been sleeting all day!😮
I am so jealous!!! I am in south MS and I don’t think we will get anything here ☹️
It is definitely beautiful ❤❤❤
i"m a south la. girl also living in slidell but grew up in Chalmette. wish we would get snow more often. what state are you in?
I went to this sale on Saturday and got a cute pair of dog bookends for $10
Let it snow ❄️❄️❄️
Haha. I’m from Ohio and that’s nothing. 😂Love the excitement though. Enjoy 😉
Being a New England girl, the snow is not that beautiful...lol.
What was on the ground?
That wood duck could b worth some moolah!
I would love to go to an estate sale in USA 🇬🇧🇺🇸🌸🌸
What state is this?
You pronounce pecan funnier than anyone I’ve ever heard.
Really, LOL. I wish I could hear myself like you do. Sounds normal to me
That clickbait title though..
Did it work 😉
@@juliethrifts Depends. By "work", do you mean you gained a view, or do you mean you got a thumbs down and an unsubscribe? Cause you got all three.
a beutifull home
Snow is beautiful until it isn’t
WHY did you get kicked out. I dont think I heard you mention why you got kicked out?????
Picaaaawn 😂😂😂😂
Is that snow or sleet??cold no matter what😂😂
