Why I left my corporate job for SSC CGL and main reasons behind the move. I discussed the propelling factors behind this decision in this video..

I quit my IT job in April, 2018 and started preparing for CGL for the same reasons. I have been selected CBIC Inspector in CGL'18. 🙂

Not being good enough at your IT skills even after doing a degree in the same domain, is the main reason people shift their focus towards govt. Jobs, and justify that by giving reasons like security, benefits, allowances and what not. Accept it or not, our mind is not ready to toil hard daily to work on constantly evolving and dynamic IT work, our mind seeks stability in doing the same monotonous clerical work (not applicable to all govt job, but applies to most of them). Accept that you don't want to show up daily and work hard enough to Excel in that field and you want to work the same want daily just by looking at the clock. Period.
Ok tell the same when you are 45 or 50 with 3 kids and lots of personal problems 😂

It Depends on different different variables and different situations
My father is Central Government Teacher currently . I was also inclined to my father job too. I did BTech Computer Science and Join Software Company in 2022. I know this is time of recession but honestly still my father wants me in Corporate Sector for myself. I am still learning but fact is every company is different in corporate you require good professional knowledge with good communication skills. I am from Delhi too. one of the other reason my financial situation is also good and I wants to live in Big metro cities. Therefore, irrespective of the situation you should explore first and then take decisions accordingly.
Hard facts: mostly career professions required great practice and knowledge like Journalism, Software Engineer, Doctor, writers, Actors you need to be best in industry then you will get paid accordingly. Also if you have great package or money you might be not need of Job security

My sister worked in US for 15 yrs. She got laid off recently. No peace. No security. No motivation. Just use and throw. Ur replaceable easily. After 40...u need to struggle daily to be in job. She was getting 4 lakh a month. Suddenly got laid off. She has a kid. Her husband is bearing all expenses. Out of 10,000 dollars he gets a month...5000 goes for home loan emi. Remaining car emi...food... Medical... education. They just show off here in india...to make others feel inferior. In real they are always sad and struggling. Mental health is spoiled. If ur in a govt job...in 15 yrs u would be atleast under secretary....

Mere graduation complete hone k bad ek private company me kaam kra or sirf 6 months k baad chod diya dusri aache job k liye.ye mere liye tough decision tha.par uss tym tk financial stability thi and chodne k baad me bhi iss loop me fas gyi ky karna chiye prv. ya gov. and abhi apne financial cond ko dekhte hue phirse prvt. krne ka try kar rhe hu kyuki mere pass work experience h or kaafi knowledge ho gya h IT ka or gov ki study kaafi alag h.So it must be depend on your current situation and once we become financial stable then we can think about other opportunity.
Same situation arises in my life. I took the same path and join wbsetcl as Junior engineer position. It's a very tough decision of my life because i was working in a world's top electrical core MNC company with good salary package.

Thanx sir, I had completed BE in computer science but I turned to gov job preparation right after graduation ..... but after 1 yr I distracted from study because of IT job's bulk of packages and more people have been asked me --why you don't join IT sector ? due to that Q. I was distracted ..but thanx for your video ..which I will have been used as inspiration for me.

Government jobs have lost importance of past. Better go for high paid jobs. Keep target of at least 25LPA. Try MBA after 2-3 yrs experience.

very true ...... SSC is a clerical or very low level posting . Zero power. All power is with Grade A jobs that's UPSC/PCS.
SSC is only for someone , jisska kahin aur selection nhi hua , to ssc theek hai . Bhooke nhi maroge aap .

Now a days you are not getting home posting for any government job.
Some of the other important cons of government job are,
1. Exposure is very less compared to IT jobs.
2. Static job and routine. No new things to work on and learn. Will be bored after some time.
3. As per the inflation rate and current situation, salary is very less in government jobs as compared to IT.
4. Worst thing, if government will sell the organisation to the corporate, you will have nothing. Not expertise on any tech or money.
5. If you are good in the skills, corporate job has the sky as limit. Peoples are earnings in crores. But the government Job people, if they are working honestly, they have salary limit at the top positions as well.
6. Corporate jobs are having same job security, if you work honestly and having right kind of skills. People get retired after 40 years corporate jobs as well.
These are the some benefits, I highlighted. There are plenty others as well.

A man earning 1lakh per month in corporate and a man earning 50 k per month as an officer ,I will prefer latter one bcz no one cares how much corporate one is earning only his office mates knows him but a govt officer is known by that person whom even he doesnt knows. i wanted to know why you left it world in the time where upgrading to data science and engineering skills you can get handsome package ,which most of the ssc employees can't get.
You can't get satisfaction by having 2L+ package and no job security and you can be fired at any day so he was not sure.

I left IT job in 2019 and doing farming on my ancestoral land and I am earning decently around 25 lacs per annum .

It is not like that. Many people who cracked govt job are working in top private companies. I left group A govt job (isro scientist) for a private sector job and there are many people like me :)

It all looks fancy till you join and you have to work with no-brainers your iq will slowly start to decrease you will become lazy and you won’t have a life you dreamt of. Atleast in private you meet with people who are competitive and that pushed you to learn new things and perform better.

If you want to migrate job from IT(software engineer) to govt job, only go for UPSC and State PCS. Not go for Ssc CgL or any other govt job.

Yes IAS officer are mentally abused by MLA and MPs. If they have power then why can't they say that I don't want transfer I want to stay here in Delhi? Why Shahrukh khan son's got clean chit. And wankhade says I don't want to give any comments on this. Behind the scenes IAS are controlled by politicians. These officials are paper idols who performs dance step on the direction of politicians. Watching ias officer entry video's should not be source of inspiration. Indeed They handle lot of pressure because govt is paying them to do so. Earning black money shouldn't be motive behind govt job. Life is all about finding happiness in little things. A good sleep with little money is better than no sleep after having big amount of blood sucking corruption money.

hello bhaiya ... I'm 2019 graduate from IT dept. I didn't opt for job then ... but now I'm getting depressed. In 2019 cgl I couldn't go upto the final round ....and parents are telling u must have opted for a pvt job ...atleast for an experience....and now again pvt jobs are telling 2019 batch are not eligible ..this way I can't focus on exams .What should i do ????
Here is a wise idea get into private job as soon as you can.forget about the govt job.govt job is a coin toss.you either one or you loses.
There should always be a backup either go for masters and get into job or apply for job and you should be very good in coding parallely prepare if you have financial problem
