Forcible Entry Solo Options

Forcible entry is the mainstay of the skills a Truckie needs to perform on the fire ground. Given the 'do more with less' budgets we all face, this video demonstrates a few options for solo forcible entry. Keep training and trying new things and we hope this video helps. NOTE: Some commercials doors are 1 3/4" versus the 1 1/2" width mentioned in the narration. The technique is the same regardless of width.

I like to turn my ny hook the other way around. To me it keeps the hook a little more secure on the halligan.

Fought fire in 3 countries, originally in USA, I'll take a set of Irons (Halligan and flat head ax) and a Ben Franklin helmet over anything anyone else has...

Free Fire Sims our Middle TN Fraternal Order of Leatherheads (F.O.O.L.S.) chapter built it ... we can perform vertical, flat roof ventilation under real fire conditions, garage door FE prop, burglar bar FE prop and pulling ceilings ... we travel all over teaching Truck Co. Ops classes.
