Presentation was excellent and demonstrated clearly the skills and intricate nature of landing in confined areas let alone the risks. Great stuff, Arthur !!
Is great to see the Rotorway helicopter shown, displayed, flown this way. You a Pear to be the best advocate for displaying the true potential of the 162F
You make it look so easy Arthur, I so enjoyed flying with you in the gyrocopter waterskiing, almost on Inanda dam. Won’t try that in my Chipmunk though!
For every takeoff there must be a landing. To land in a confined space like you have means that you must have ice in your veins. Always thought there was something different about you. Congratulations Arthur.
Thanks for watching and the comment coming from a Falling girl. But you haven't seen anything before you watch my exciting videos on my channel th-cam.com/users/arthurgemperlevideos Enjoy
Wonderful flying. Your videos are really well edited. They show the capabilities of the helicopter in a very entertaining way. They also show us your beautiful country. Arthur, does it ever get cold there besides in the mountains?
Thanks for all your nice comments. In Natal or Durban aria where I live the average winter temperature is 20 deg. C and summer is 28 deg. very mild clima next to the Indian ocean .
Hi Arthur I'm considering getting an RW for home in the UK. In your opinion would a standard, reasonably-maintained example always have absolute 100% reliability in cyclic contol and tail rotor authority for confined areas? (Near sea-level and not hot). I have 25m between trees. I used to routinely land my R22 there with absolute confidence, but now read so many scare stories about the RW occasionally losing a bit of T/R authority and so on. Scary, but no big deal in an open field, but that could end very badly with trees and buildings about. What is the truth? Cheers, Mark.
Hi Mark, thanks for watching The RW does not loos tail rotor authority ever if you keep the RPM on landing on top of the green. Because the RW doesn't have a governor it is easy for the pilot to loos some rotor RPM on landing. That means it is 100% Pilot error only.

Are you using a Rotorway engine with the turbo? I have been told by some that the engines for these helicopters were not very good. Is that not accurate? Holding down pressure from a turbo and turning high RPM for continuous times is usually the mark of a good engine.
Sorry you are mistaken the R22 is a 2seat helicopter and the R44 Cadet is a 4 seater. Goggle it on the internet ! The R22 and the R44 ar certified for training and work. The Rotorway is for recreational purposes only. The Rotorway is less than half the price from a R22 and half the running cost
@@ArthurGemperle I am a mechanic for a company that operates both R44 Cadets and R44 Raven II. While the R22 is indeed a two seater, the cadet is also a two seater. I also fly the Raven II. Which is the four seat helicopter along with the R66. Does the rotor way have any hydraulics? Also does it have a governor, or is it manual fuel?
Arthur demonstrating you unique skills and airmanship .A pleasure to watch .
Mad skills! That waterski platform landing blew my mind
Love seeing your off-airport landings
One hell of a demonstration! I’ll watch that one more than once!
