But now, REALLY FOR SUCH A LONG TIME TO FIND ONE, I FINALLY GO THROUGH HERE, THANK GOD :) thank you so much 😘 its not that hard anyways, i thought its hard lol xd

If it's "greater than or equal to" or "less than or equal to" then the value is included. It's the "equal to" part that makes this so. If it's just greater than, >, or less than,
On the 3rd example of interval notation. What does it mean that five is not included? and it should be parenthesis, i get that negative is included but why does five not included? Can someone please explain me right now :(
The numbers don't matter, It depends on what sign it has and on number five it is a less than sign which means it isn't included whereas if you had a less than or equal to sign then it would be included .

How would you write the set notation of a notation going from negative infinity to infinity?
I think it would be { x l -∞ ≤ x ≤ ∞ }
I believe my teacher said it was something like {x|x f(x)Eℝ}. I remember taking notes in class, but I don't know where they are.
I know that set notation and algebraic notation is the same thing so what is the difference between the two if they are the same.
So helpful thank you great way of writing and organizing your examples.
In the last given, can "U" ( union symbol) be used rather than the word "or" for the set notation? That's what I always do.
Darci Fernandez no you can’t do that...at least my teachers took off points if you did that! You have to use “or” or “and”
Thanks for the clarification. It's greatly appreciated.😀
