      Typically because of intent: when you are looking something up you have full intent to learn it. Even when you think you have intent in class, there is always a possibility that something is distracting you with so many variables in the classroom. By coming to this video you actively are focused on engaging in the content rather than someone saying "hey, you need to know this so pay attention." Intent is one of the top factors of success in anything.

    • @RandyAnderson

      Divide both sides by 2 to get x≤2. See my videos "An Introduction to Linear Inequalities" and "Solving Linear Inequalities" for more. Study well.

    On the 3rd example of interval notation. What does it mean that five is not included? and it should be parenthesis, i get that negative is included but why does five not included? Can someone please explain me right now :(

    • @ermano3204
      @ermano3204 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      The numbers don't matter, It depends on what sign it has and on number five it is a less than sign which means it isn't included whereas if you had a less than or equal to sign then it would be included .

    • @RandyAnderson
      @RandyAnderson  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If the inequality is "less than or equal to" or "greater than or equal to" then the number is included. The symbols used are: ≤ or ≥
