As a Filipina Transwoman, I AM FLOORED!!!! The beginning of the video is basically accounting for a Transgender Woman... who was the High Priestess of her peoples. This .makes sense with the connection to the Hijra Community in India and why Thailand has so many Ladyboys. Thank you!!! PRECOLONIAL PHILIPPINES is a Matriarchal Society. ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥🌹🌹🌹🌹🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭
I believe the Boxer codex should be in the MANILA MUSEUM where the Philippine people can learn about their history. It sits in a private collection in an Indian university wasting away. The university should repatriate this peace of history to where I belongs.
Good to know na may 2nd edition na. Kaya siguro naunahan ako dati dun sa hardbound ng 1st ed. Ordered online and now waiting for it to arrive in our doorstep 😊
@@glengalao4698 Sa shop online ng Vibal last year. Unfortunately, it never came. Nawala nang parang bula yung second edition. Nagkaproblema raw sa printing. At ito, mag-one year na, wala pa ring balita from Vibal.

Sana may link na dito kung paano bumili nung book. Also, sana may feature yung online shop ng vibal para mga willing to wait para sa additional copies ng book. Gusto ko kasi bumili nung Boxer Codex book ng vibal.

I think the term pre-colonial Philippines is asinine. The archipelago that we now call the Philippines was not called the Philippines Islands or Las Islas Filipinas before March 16,1521.

Technically it should be sitting in Madrid since it was a Spaniard who wrote and compiled the work.
I don't think it would work that way since the Boxer Codex does not only cover about the Philippines, but yeah maybe a copy would be nice.

Gold during those times is just a normal thing to use for culture and beliefs because of the abundance that we have.
