Hey. For the button tick it centers my sprites but I would like them to be at X: 180 Y: 90. Any fix?

Making a typo in a broadcast is wayyy too relatable
A better technique for setting the costumes would be to have the ID variable as a number. That way you can just name the costumes numbers and you can replace all those set variables to a change variable in a repeat loop :) (btw this is just my opinion this is still a helpful vid :D)
edit: I just noticed the player sprite is named "classy cat" xD

So I've double checked my code and did exactly what was shown, but for some reason, the transition is laggy? It's super slow and I'm not sure what to do

@ShiftClickLearn I got a problem... when I click the green flag and hover my mouse over any of the buttons, it doesn't move, and then when I click the flag, it seemed like the buttons were not transparent.

We can use the main sprite as the background.
What kind of modification are you using and how can i install it? cause i cant Rclick the "change x" and make it a "change y", and while creating a broadcast it opens a UI, but not for you, etc...

I have an issue, my buttons all go to the same spot what do I do?

can't we just set id to 1 and repeat till all costume
and we can just switch costume like normal
That could work too- you'd have to modify the button hitbox script a little for that way to work

when i tried it the background was only there and even if i took it out nothing happened

welp i got stuck on one of the very first steps
when i run the createclone block, the only clones that pop up are background clones
im using this tutorial for a scratch 4.0 challenge im doing and im doing a shooter
i want to add a sound each time i hover above one of the buttons, but cant seem to be able to do it inside the 'Button Tick' code block without it ruining the hover animation or playing each tick etc... . can i even do so? how?

I have no idea why when i click start the other buttons wont fade away
I got most of it, but if you or anyone else in the comments knows how to fix this, could you help? When I was coding the transition into the game and thought I was finished with that part, I pressed the flag. Two of the "logo" sprite appeared, one where it was supposed to be, and the other offset. They faded at different times and different speeds, and neither of them moved down. Not quite sure what I did wrong.
yee, something like that happened to me too i didn't know how to fix but after deleting everything TWICE it stopped.
then it started again... so for thetitle screen sprite i just made it invisible idk whether the title screen will work or not...

This wasn't working for me. I did all of the steps, and everything, but only the sprite at the end of the stack of code was showing up, and five of them are showing up. You think you know how to fix it?

You'd need to add a new broadcast, then hide the title screen when it is broadcasted, then pop up the UI clones for that page. :)

i keep getting problems and bugs😭😭 the problems are Cloning the same costume 2 times and one at the button hover code where the start button will move left and right

You should actually make the title screen one whole sprite because you could backpack it to other projects
You can also make a invisible box in the scratch costume as a hitbox -_-

UHH complicated, I made an animation loop only, but not bad. But you shall get these scripts to get shorter, I was trying using tags in the costumes but nope, it was long, honestly my 0.2 alpha version of my scratch game is done and working on the 3.0 will keep the button scripts, I am trying to do a lot, the first REAL version that is not alpha is the 1.0release version

I was really excited when I saw this tutorial because it looked really cool and I need it for a project that is due in 2 weeks but when i use the block code 'Define CreateClones' and i did the 'set _id' and 'create clone of myself' but it wasnt really working as the last set '_id' was only set and since my last block was msgoftheday it said '_id MsgOfThDay'( i also did the switch costume, show yadayadayada) and this is m second time. i really dont know what is worng (sorry if this doesnt make sense) someone help me :(
