The song evokes my adolescent remembrances of my short sojourns/itineraries in garhwal hills when i used to spend my annual vacations in my native village.In those days,there was no supply of electricity and gas cylinder unlike today and meal was cooked on firewood fetched and ferried from forests and logs and timber were the only source of survival and sustenance.It was a very awkward uncanny and weird feeling/moment when i used to see the women chopping and cutting branches and plants for firewood and fodder in the evening and then playing and enjoying the same song in the night as they could relate to it more than us.it reignites my vast resplendent repository and drooling depository of precious and prized reminiscences.
