Thanks for vid and actually going through patch notes. So I am guilty for being really upset/mad at sims 4 due to buying console and pc packs (2500$ all together) to have broken packs but I don’t blame sims team. I’m glad they are fixing the bugs. I am mad at Ea and shareholders for not giving sims team resources and time to make great expansions. You are right the sims team does need credit.
Whenever any company have share holder, it STOP working for it's clients, but start working only for the share holders at the expense of the clients.
Can't fish in Winter. That depends on the temperature. Not being able to go fishing when it's freezing have always being there. But, if it's not being able to fish in Winter when the temperature is just cool... THAT is a serious bug. So far, I'm not affected by this one.
I am glad they are focusing more on fixing bugs. I remember how bad it was.
We havent have a huge bug fixes updates in a year and we had 3 EP last year so, they need to stop pushing content and work on the game stability. For instance, I have a minor bug that switches front door label to the doors on my lot, its is very random, I havent find out how this is replicated, but very annoying. I actually notice it happens when I see the cat going into the greenhouse instead of the house and yup, sure thing, it happened, but the cause is so not clear to me. I did test on, save and reloading and nothing concluent just... I aiming to help them find clues at some bug and report them as well. But at the moment, there is no area in the game without a bug, you cant play without encountering like 10 + bugs into one households... lol The game isnt fun anymore becayse of that.
For instance, I play a spellcaster who is archeologist and about to get married lol.
First: Spellcasters lol, occults in general are just so bugged, but for the spellcasters I could see many many bugs that were there years ago, some from the launch of the game pack and still not resolved. Wands/brooms swatches not able to be purchase or win through duels. Duels are too hard, even with the perks points plus the familiar, winning a duel againts anyone is almost impossible... I think if I know a newbie spellcasters low rank should not be able to win againts my power mage... right now this is random and I found that most begginers beat up my guy. It does not make sense at all.
Second: With the reward trait from one of the aspiration of Jungle adventure allowing you to find rarer collectible, if you havent find all the common artifacts, you might be stuck on one of them. Right now, the terracotta vase is not findable for me. Despite having uncovered so many artifacts, nothing for this particular one. But I still find common artifacts, just not the vase. Also, one relics that allow you to get a skelletal assistant is broken, I used it many times in the past and now this is broken, no skeletal assistant come on your lot to help out... might have to check if it does not work because of the private dwelling lot trait... but nonetheless a bug!
Third: Try to organise a wedding lol, the UI is blank, completely broken lol... yup
All that to say, you cant play the game right now and find one area where no bug happen... like there is not a single gameplay feature without bug, and this gets me mad, because I usually get some diligence and find something else or change households to get something enjoyable to do, but the state of this game is almost looking like its not salvageable at this point... so many bugs old of like 5 years of more, they were reported 5 years ago obviously but no words since then... This is disgusting customer service, not only that, but no other games out there have so many issues, and just unbelivable to me, other companies actually put hard work to fix issues and in no time, things get resolved... It blows my mind that this game is in that state. This is unseen before, the sims 4 reached the abyssal low that any other game never ever reach before. This is a true shame for the gaming industry at this point.
I love the sims 4 visual, ideas, and even gameplay... but the bugs make this game unworthy.
