ภัทร หนุ่มทะเล้น กากเกรียน และ ปราณ หนุ่มเนี้ยบ มาดคุณชาย ผู้ที่ถูกฟ้าลิขิตให้เป็นศัตรูกันตั้งแต่ยังไม่เห็นหน้า เพราะพ่อแม่เปิดร้านอุปกรณ์ก่อสร้างอยู่ข้างกัน แข่งกันตัดราคา แย่งลูกน้อง เกลียดกันชนิดไม่เผาผี ทำให้ทั้งคู่ถูกวางตัวเป็นคู่แข่งกันตั้งแต่เกิด ไม่ว่าใครคลานได้ก่อน เดินได้ก่อน เรียกพ่อแม่ได้ก่อน ทุกอย่างล้วนถูกเอามาเปรียบเทียบเกทับกัน
แต่วันหนึ่งตอนที่ทั้งคู่อายุ 12 ปี กำแพงความเกลียดชังของทั้งคู่ก็เริ่มมีรอยร้าว เมื่อ ภา น้องสาวของภัทรขี่จักรยานพลัดตกน้ำในคลองหมู่บ้าน ระหว่างที่ภัทรยังทำอะไรไม่ถูก เป็นปราณที่กระโจนลงน้ำไปช่วยภาขึ้นมา เหตุการณ์นั้นก็ทำให้ความสัมพันธ์ของคนทั้งคู่เปลี่ยนไป แม้ภายนอกจะดูเป็นคู่แข่งกันเหมือนเดิม แต่ลึกๆ ข้างในก็ไม่เกลียดชังกันเท่าเดิม
จน ม.3 อาจารย์ให้ทั้งคู่ฟอร์มวงดนตรีด้วยกัน ทำให้ทั้งคู่ต้องใกล้ชิดกันมากขึ้น
4 ปีต่อมา โชคชะตาก็เล่นตลกเมื่อส่งให้ ภัทร เข้าเรียนปี1 เป็นประธานรุ่นฝั่งวิศวะ ขณะที่ ปราณ เป็นประธานรุ่นคณะสถาปัตย์ โดยที่ทั้ง 2 คณะเป็นคู่แค้นกันมานาน ทำให้ภัทรและปราณต้องกลับมาตีกันอีกครั้ง เมื่อภารู้เรื่อง ก็วีนแตก ยื่นคำขาดห้ามภัทรทำร้ายปราณเด็ดขาด เพราะบุญคุณที่เคยช่วยไว้ ทำให้ภัทรไปขอทำข้อตกลงกับปราณว่าจะแอบแลกเปลี่ยนข้อมูล เพื่อหาทางหลีกเลี่ยงไม่ให้ทั้ง 2 คณะทะเลาะกัน ปราณเองก็ไม่ชอบมีเรื่องเลยยอมตกลง
ทำให้ทั้งคู่เริ่ม “ความสัมพันธ์แบบลับๆ” ที่จะเป็นเพื่อนก็ไม่ใช่ ศัตรูก็ไม่เชิง แต่บันเทิงใจคนดู
สุดท้ายแล้วมิตรภาพบนความขัดแย้งของภัทรและปราณจะไปสิ้นสุดที่ตรงไหน ความลับจะแตกลงเมื่อไหร่ พ่อแม่จะยอมรับหรือไม่ หรือสุดท้ายจะมีวันที่ความขัดแย้งคลี่คลายหรือไม่

One thing that is often overlooked is the style and wardrobe of the two main leads. Throughout the story, the clothes that the leads wear tells a lot about their character but in this episode it is very telling how the two faculties accepted Pat and Pran's relationship. It's how Pat is now wearing the archtecture faculty's colour (to the point where he blends in with the rest of the archi students in the proposal scene) and how the only colour Parn has on him is a similar shade of blue to the engineering faculty's colour. I love how simple and yet tasteful their outfit choices are.

I felt so happy when Pat said that he'll let Pa decide if she wants to be hit on by Wai. Also, when Pat's mom asked her husband to thank Pran and said " *We* are the Adults" it was such an amazing and Mature move (So much more mature than Pran's mom) This is such a well-thought series😄😍💚💚

I think the issue is between Pran's mom & Pat's Dad... They both seem to be so grumpy all the time makes me believe they have some history together... Whereas Pran's dad & Pat's mom are chill comparatively and isn't as agressive... I have a theory (not saying it now)👀 but I need more to confirm if it's true... I'll come back here and let y'all know after watching the rest.
Edit: ok now that I finished the series I can confirm they did have history together they were besties and not lovers and it really ended up bad for Pran's mom and they did not go with the "bad break up, cheating ex" troupe (which I have tbh that is what I expected to see and I was pleasantly surprised it didn't go that way) like in most drama series... But what Pat's father did to her was really bad and cheap 💀💀 y'all can see for yourself. 👀

Pat saying he’ll leave Pa to decide whether she wants to go out with wai. This series has tackled so many harmful stereotypes i’m so happy to see it. I think this series has truly gone beyond the usual thai bl series and i’m so happy to see that the lgbt community is getting better representation by showing healthy rs with proper communication. I hadn’t watched any gmmtv series bls in a long over 2 years but I’m really glad i watched this.
Yeah, while all of that is great, it still ISN’T representation when there isn’t anyone LGBT on screen. It is interpretation…but hopefully more openly queer writers and actors get a chance to show their talent.

@@leigy100 I mean, we don't know for sure. There could be bisexual, gay, lesbian, queer, or any other part of the LGBTQ+ community actors in these productions. Not everyone is openly gay or maybe they haven't had time to discover themselves yet.

And while LGBT labels have been popularized with globalization and the spread of western culture, there are other ways of naming and identifying with queerness. So there might be people who are part of the show who are queer, but they just don't use LGBT labels. Also, some people might be openly queer to the people in their lives, but may not be publicly queer on a larger scale for various reasons. I understand what you mean though.

The whole confession scene in front of the faculty gets me so giddy.
Pran's sweet, proud smile when Pat is listing things he knows about him, to the teasing smirk when Pat is literally yelling out his love to him in front of everyone. It just shows how even if Pat is nervous, he is still willing to publicly declare his love to Pran, and how our insecure Pran is finally able to confidently accept and share his love. They have such a healthy bond. True twin flames.

I love this series because of how it didn't use Pat and Pran's relationship as the main focus, but instead having it as the anchor of the story with many other conflicts surrounding it, making the story complex but highly enjoyable. I love what P'Aof did with Still 2gether, as the sequel series give Sarawat and Tine great character development, and it also shown in Bad Buddy as the whole series is literally Pat and Pran being best boys despite their family feuds. Even the toxic people here get to have their own character development, amazing!
P'aof actually saved the disaster of the last few eps of 2gether by directing still2gether 😂

Ming having to say thank you to the son of the woman he wronged so bad is one of my favorite things. People most hate Wai in this series, and talk about Pran's mom being toxic, but I rarely see comments about how f*kin toxic Pat's father is... for me he is the only character I never warmed up to. He is a horrible father, giving "freedom" for his son only until said son follows the steps he sets for him etc... also what he did to Pran's mom is legit unforgivable, I'd also be reluctant to let my kids be friends with someone who was raised by a man like Ming...

2 things (1)I'm a female just in case people think I'm a guy defending pat's dad (2) this is a long explanation of why I think people don't attack pat's dad the same as pran's mum or wai
I completely understand your point pat's dad is vile but we're supposed to know that he is a vile person but I've seen the series so many times and my opinion on pat's dad and pran's mum has not changed
pat's dad did what he did at a young age and under parental pressure to be perfect (doesn't excuse what he did but in his scrambled way of thinking he did what he did anyway and he can't take it back)
Pran's mum continued on with her life and met a great guy and together they had a gorgeous baby boy when anyone becomes a parent or a guardian you make sure that you love them care for them and let them know they are loved and wanted not send them away from familiar surroundings even in this episode she yells at pran to be honest with her then when he tells her that he's with pat she yells at pran more the minute pran fights back and tells her what I think he's been to scared to tell her before she hits him only when she messed up did she confront next door instead of running after the boy she just hit and apologising for everything
pat's dad is a dick but pran's mum did need calling out for her behaviour too as for wai he's probably the worst character in the show where pat's dad showed embarrassment for his behaviour and pran's mum showed shame for her behaviour wai showed he has total victim complex but ironically none of these characters apologised for anything they did
Amidst his toxicity, I really applaud Pat's mom for being wise and sensible
@@hugecake4178I fu#£ing love this show but I have a slight issue with the secret being what it is because the thing is that I find that pat's mum and pran's dad were not vocal enough throughout the series like when Pran was bullied into coming out by his own mum I would have liked pran's dad to have been the middle person or voice of reason for Pran because let's be honest Pran was absolutely right about how his mum is a liar and so what he thought the secret was that his mum and pat's dad may have dated in the past the fact is she didn't tell her son the truth only when she fu*ked up as a parent did she think to barge her way into pat's family home (she wasn't welcomed in so she trespassed) and reveal the truth which outs pat's dad as a thief,a liar and a coward but ironically I would rather be all those things than a child abuser like pran's mum when he finally gains the courage to stand up for himself as his mum was literally calling him a traitor to the family and to her reputation she physically hits him

I couldn't help but scream when Pat was declaring his love loudly and proudly while meeting Pran in the middle of the stairs 😍. Love that Pran's faculty weren't concerned at all that they're two boys but just wanted Pat to ask for permission 😂 and their fist bump omg😭. I knew Chai had to know, he wasn't dumb and I'm glad he's okay with it. That revelation about the parents tho 😶... "We're the adults" at least one adult has common sense. The look on Pat's face and when Pat told him Pran helped was satisfying to see. Also "I'll let her decide" As he should, gahhh I love this series so much😍

Didn’t make it good or right. One thing that I really wish they would address it, though. But I know that they wouldn't. I wonder why Korn wasn't willing to help Wai that one time at the bar, when the other bully with gun bullied Wai. The scene beginning at Ep.10 [1/4] 9:47 was Pat’s symbolic induction into the Archi Faculty, undergoing hazing as is the tradition in order to be with Pran as an Engineering outsider. With some background knowledge, we now know that it was also PatPran’s betrothal and/or wedding ceremony in a way - when Pat was made to answer personal questions about Pran and confess his love at the top of his voice, the whole encounter was not much different from the obstacle games that a groom goes through in a traditional Thai _khan maak_ . But there’s MORE that follows...
There is ALSO a visual (and matrimonial) gag in the next scene. Immediately after we witness Pat and Pran’s wedding, we suddenly see WAI at Ep.10 [1/4] 13:53 all dressed in foofy white and carrying what looks suspiciously like a bridal bouquet - it’s a Thai crêpe - while being escorted by Pran. Coming so soon after PatPran's own ceremony, the image calls to mind a bride being walked down the aisle, and it’s funny because hyper-aggressive Wai is anything but the stereotype of a shy and blushing soon-to-be wife.
We know the gag must be intentional because normally you’d carry the crêpe with the open side facing inwards and upwards (with the tapered end pointing towards you) so that the filling wouldn’t fall out. But carried this way (vertically, and with the open side out) - the visual metaphor is unmistakable (at least on the re-watch for me 😂).
And so when they reach the end of the (canteen) aisle, Pran deposits Wai next to his groom - Korn, appropriately dressed in a dark blue (faculty) jacket for their union. Then, like their dearly beloved gathered to witness, we get to see the rituals of Korn and Wai getting together (just goofy horseplay, but hey, whatever works for them) as they set aside their differences and finally say “I do” to becoming friends. 😂

I like that Pran's peer mentor/older brother didn't actually decide over Pat's "confession", it was Pran that gave the actual yes so it wasn't the typical situation where the other part of the couple is not allowed to act on it's own without someone else's permission
Just another nice detail about the series
Pat & Pran have such a healthy relationship. Even with all the conflicts they have surrounding their relationship, they value their relationship more than anything. they don’t let anything ruin their bond. Each episode they get more brave with their relationship, first with their faculty groups and now with their parents. I just hope for nice, easy resolution for ending of the show
