Question is, can you make a 2d model of the room? After you finish this scan, can you move it and then have it stitch the scans together to make a detailed 3d map of the room? Would be interested if this was possible. If so, please do a video.
Hello, Would you be so kind as to tell me what process you use to obtain the image? Is it a special software that visualizes the measured points? Best regards Jean-Pierre
@@davidwagstaff9426 Glad you got yours working. I'm attempting to use that LidarScanner.pde, to render an image also, but I am having trouble. What version of Processing are you using for that sketch, and also what is your serial output format? I've tried- 123 456 6789 -horizontal servo coordinates 'TAB' vertical servo coordinates 'TAB' TFmini plus output, then return newline. I also use leading 0's, for all three Serial outputs.
Hello, could you please provide the source code and application used including components.. it would be a great help. The project idea you have taken from, they have used their own software. So, could you tell me about yours. pls.
Sorry the computer I had the files on failed and I have lost all the details now, but it was more or less the code from the project I linked to with a few modifications. From what I remember the program ran on Processing (processing.org/)
I just had a nerdgasm, this is so cool!
That's some smooth rastering.
Very interesting !! What is the servo motor that you are using ? It seems very compact and silent .
Thank you
Bro the video is mute😂
Chief, Is this vid done in real time?
No

Yes, he can move it, it's laser and it covers everything from every possible angle to form a complete 3D model
Genius bro, hoping for more videos

this is so cool man
Can you a video in detail and how to convert sensor output to image
Perhaps moving a mirror would do justice to this instead of moving the head it’self. It’s be faster a very light mirror can be used.
Somebody doesn't know a lot about lidar. Ever looked at the top of a waymo?
Can you tell how many point clouds are there in 1 minute? is there a calculation in the source code
Woaaahhhhh!!! Thats crazy do you have tutorial
were you able to integrate this with a moving rover?
So that is a TOF sensor on a 2 axis servo combo?
Yes
Hello, what is the name of the program you are using?
There is a Arduino doing all the servo control and the rendering is done via a "Processing" sketch on the PC.

I do not fully understand
@@huseyinulupinar392 there is a software called Processing that he put code into
@@huseyinulupinar392 He put code on here: processing.org/download/
How did you make UI for map to data?
is this open3d library?
Is it possible to have the code please ? At least that of the sevos ? Thanks in advance !
Hi, this is the project that inspired me and has links to the code I used as a base. www.qcontinuum.org/lidar

Hi David,
I have a startup company and would really love to hire you.

@@davidwagstaff9426 thank you, buddy!!!
Hello very success , my üniversty project is autonom mapping cleaning robot. can this system be adapted to it. Please help me.
A raspberry pi would be better for that
can u post the both codes
What is the point cloud app?
It was done in processing. Follow the link in the description to see the project I was inspired by.
@@davidwagstaff9426 Thanks!
Could you post the code?
