Easier to do one main comment as there was a lot of advice from various comments. It's Young Bird Sickness, no doubt about it. The Federation cancelled racing this weekend so will give me more time to get them right. Unfortunately some birds have died in the process which is quite upsetting but comes with the territory with Young Bird Sickness (adenovirus) I guess.
Thank you for all the support and advice, I have them on a nice homeopathic treatment now which seems to have helped stop the spread to other birds that weren't already showing signs of being ill.

Looking at those droppings , if they were mine they would wait. Personally I would have no bother jumping them a 100 mile but if ya saying it would be the same racepoint anyway. Why bother. U could always turn the saved pools money u saved by not sending into fuel and give them a longer chuck in 10 days or so ? If they're not right you'll do more bad than good. Based on what u said at the beginning " respritory " YES . Ears , nose, throat.
Good luck with whatever u do.

Think I would miss this week and keep an eye on them. Give them a few tosses next week and back in next Saturday. You have got some nice birds so pointless throwing them away.

Hi bud The pigeons with dodgy eyes you can use normal eyedrops that will clear it quicker than any medication prescribed by the vet and as for not racing the weekend I think you should go ahead with the race that last pigeon that went in I think that will be your first pigeon back the weekend as he looks the strongest or just send the last one in

I wouldn't send them. Take the droppings to a vet and go from there. Also I have been told that B M 335 from Colin Leask is good for YBS .If it is that. GOOD LUCK. 🌟👍

Hi in a word yes been there so many times over the years. Don't be fooled! 2 to 3 weeks of complete stress reduction which is compromising their immune system hence viral infection. Very light feed no big seeds I use tk conditioner but stave then for 48 hours then build up slowly. If you race them in the next 2/3 weeks even if they look fine your losses will be very high. Plenty of vitamin D3 with help repair their immune system. Sorry for being the bearer of bad news but the is a big part of the young bird losses nowadays. I know it's disappointing but don't throw them away especially if you want them for the future for the distance.
    Regards Dave

You could they will probably only tell you what you already know and possibly add a bacterial secondary overgrowth to the list. By the way your eye problem is probably herpes. Yes you could treat them with drugs but in doing so you risk wiping out all of their gut bacteria which yes you can rebuild it but that's a very long process. As I explained before stave them for 48 hours this is because their guts stopped due to the stress they will just throw food back up. Put some vitamin C in the water a squeeze of a fresh lemon with do or if you have some gempax will help them. After the 48 hours give them light small seeds about half an ounce and build it up over a week. Then start introducing your main feed with the small grains slowly. Try getting them in aviary to get some direct sunlight (vitamin D3) on them it will help them. Don't rush them after a couple of weeks loft fly if they are doing well training again good luck. Oh don't worry about the distance Ive had at 10 months old fly 500 miles if they are right
      Regards Dave

That’s not just one birds droppings..... and if there’s corn below the grills it’s been spewed up.
See what’s waiting for you in the morning regards corn spewed and droppings and take it from there.I wouldn’t isolate anything you think has it (futile) just let it run it’s course through the lot of them

I made a comment earlier . After seeing the weekend forecast you'll have plenty rime to get them right . I don't think anyone will be racing this weekend...

We swear by "optrex" for all eye problems. One drop 2 times a day, sorts them in 3 days tops. Really cheap, you can get a small bottle from boots.
A good friend had the same symptoms as you in regard to one or two with loose droppings and some corn being thrown up. Like you he was in doubt and gave them a week off. He put them in again this week and got 100% returns and birds came great.
    "Better safe than sorry"
