How to learn to do cash stuffing for low cash stuffing from $250 love watching your envelope stuffing videos
Would love to see you do a 26 week (bi weekly paycheck) version of some of your savings challenges. I want to feel the "sense of accomplishment" by completing a tracker but I'm low income and can't really afford to double up on them to complete some of the trackers. The save your age tracker is one example, I am 38 so trying to double to 76 and low income would mean I can only do a couple envelopes every two weeks. Just a thought since I always see so many of them geared towards 52 weeks. Maybe you could do a second version for 26 weeks. I know a lot of them are self paced but some of the ones I want to do that you offer aren't. I did go ahead and buy it, but just thought I'd mention it. Love your videos 😊
I love this idea Jessi, thank you! I agree with you, I think the bi weekly paycheck needs aren't being served as well with my products. That's happened on accident, I think just because I get paid weekly I don't think about it as much. Which challenges would you like to see with a 26 week emphasis? I'll keep those in mind when creating future bundles! Also - I'm thinking for the 31k giveaway, I may put a couple more printables on the website. Would a general updated version of the 26 week savings challenge be a good one? ❤ ❤ ❤
@@JordanBudgets Mostly the ones that are typically geared towards the annual goals. The penny challenge, save your age, and maybe a 26 envelope challenge. I know you have a different version of the 26 week but the new one could be 1 through 26 . The penny challenge 2.0 could be 26 weeks and either do a lower income version where you start at the .28 and go from there or you "double" what you currently have as week one and two for one amount then week 3 and 4 for another amount and so on. I know I see some people have a lower income version and a higher income version of the same challenges so maybe cutting it back to 26 weeks would be doing both things, helping the people who are biweekly and lower income. Just a thought, I know nothing about uploading and listings on Etsy so I don't know how complicated that all is. LOL.
Hi Jordan! Thank you for the new video. I worked in at a bank and dealership, your 1st payment will be 45 days after date of purchase. Look at your Bill of Sale and it’ll tell you when the 1st payment is due; it’ll have how much interest you’ll pay over the course of the loan. You can used it to save to make additional payment to payoff quicker or car fund for expenses.
I'm struggling so hard right now with budgeting. I was about $3000 behind on bills when I found you in Sept, got caught up by cutting everything in Oct/Nov, and now that I have breathing room, I feel like I'm struggling with pulling cash and sticking to my spending categories. Gonna keep watching to keep the motivation up. My #1 goal is to just stay ahead. Both my kids have birthdays in the next 30 days, going to do a small trip to Orlando and visit sea world or medieval times.
Would love cash stuffing recommendations for when you receive a monthly paycheck rather than weekly or bi-monthly.
Agreed, I take out all bills and savings at once but have other expenses automated on a weekly basis.
When my kids were younger we tried all the bday combos 1) small party, big gift 2) big party, small gift 3) outrageous party, smaller gift 4) special outing with a couple of friends, no party but ice cream/cake with family etc. Number 4 ended up being the favorite and most requested. When I got my new Jeep in April 2021, I didnt get an official bill until Almost June . But my dad advised me that when you buy a new car, it is best to save up for 2 months worth of payment, if possible. That way you get 1 payment straight to the principle right away.
We go out to eat. Giving them a choice of what they want to do. Sometimes they would want to go out of town or somewhere to eat or dinner of their special food.

I'm fine with or without the money tray. Saturday we celebrated Christmas with my husband's family. It was nice seeing all the little ones together.
Also your boys should get CHIP or Medicaid (both Medicaid, but usually CHIP or healthy steps has a higher income allows)

Hi Jordan! I have bought 2 cars in the last couple of years, payments were due right around the 45 day mark. I would just plan for January and be ready for it. I never put myself on the priority list for haircuts, I get a haircut like once a year at best - I should really try to budget one in!

I'm also looking forward to how your taxes go. I think this has been one of my biggest doubts in creating a channel. I don't like math so you see my struggle lol
all my kids are grown, and I have grands, now- birthdays for the kids when they were young were a home party with 4 special friends, each sib could also invite one kid - they had the backyard games, the sheet cake from the grocery store ( cuz a bought cake was more fancy- i home baked a lot) and a pile of gifts.. ask any one of them now if they could remember the gifts, or even the party.. they'll all say barely.. if i were to do it different, it would be an experience they will always remember - some cool weekend trip somewhere, or an awesome musical concert.. something that wont fade into the background, or break like the toys they got.

My youngest had a bowling alley party in October. It was only $144 for 3 lanes for the special lane bowling. it was so worth it because it has smaller bowling games designed for kids. It was so worth it. This year my oldest wants a party at chuck e cheese, but idk if I'll be able to do that.

Nope, a cash tray isn’t needed because you are neat with your cash stuffing! 😂 Yep! 45 days after purchase, your car payment should be due. They will definitely reach out with options to pay but your due date should be in your loan paperwork. That is so weird that the kids cannot get insurance due to pre-existing conditions. Thought that the ACA stopped that mess! And especially with Medicaid!!! Mississippi is weird! 🤬Definitely would not happen in Florida! Almost any kid under 19 can get Medicaid/Florida Kid Care… $20 for 3 kids per month, for example. Even if their parents could afford private health insurance. Hope you find a resolution! 🙏🏽

Hey Jordan, first time commenter but for your car payment you should check with the lender. When I got my first car my first payment was due the following month but when I got my second car my first payment was due 3 months later. For the 3 months it was a special my credit union had that I qualified for. Loving the great videos.

Congrats to the winners, I will hopefully start in January the penny challenge and hopefully will keep my word for the No-spend on hobbies promise I made for myself that I will try to hold until May(after Mother's day) or at least not give in until after my birthday in April🤞. And if my "defiant opossitional" (according to the Special Education specialist) toddler starts cooperating I will hopefully start making money someway or another 😮💨 thinking that I should finally take the leap and start sharing on yt, and someday it may produce something 🙃

Hey Jordan, I have a question, how can someone stay motivated to try and save when they are living mostly paycheck to paycheck?
My main source of income is just enough to pay my bills and put a little bit into groceries. I just started working another part time job to help get me some money into saving, but I also have credit card debt. Which should I tackle first?

I have a question: when you put placeholders in your envelopes to represent $ in the bank, do you have just 1 account that you put all the money in and keep an eye on it so you don’t spend the money in that envelope (is that easier) or do you have different/multiple accounts open for specific things? Ex, an account just for your emergency fund, an account just for your savings, an account soley for retirement, etc. ? Which way doing that would make more sense to you? That’s something I’m trying to figure out for myself. I’m leaning towards multiple accounts. Any advice/tips would be greatly appreciated.

Aren’t you able to get Medicate for your kids because of their pre existing condition. Usually the hospitals help with this. i know you said that you tried, but they meaning the government loves to tell you no you just have to say the right things even making things sound worse then they might be. Also the schools will help after they evaluate them. Which if they haven’t done already they have to, don’t let them bully you. I would say take to advocate lawyer, but I found them to be worthless, maybe a regular lawyer would be more helpful to you. The state might absorb the cost. hope this helps.
Thank you! I've been told no by Medicaid, as I understand it, each state sets their own guidelines for who can be accepted in to a "special situation" and get in even if income limits are not met. From what I'm told, Mississippi doesn't have any category or way to get it for our situation. I'm still trying to figure it out though, I'm hoping I'll get in touch with the right person or right situation soon. ❤
I thought that Marketplace Insurance doesn't charge extra for pre-existing conditions. Don't know about cost based on your income and area, but it should cover medical conditions.
Hi Jordan I was just listening to you and you said that your son's had pre-existing conditions and nobody will take them? When you say nobody would take them or maybe I misunderstood were you talking about insurance companies or providers which would be the doctors? Pre existing in conditions was wiped away with Obama.
I don't know what type of insurance you have for the kids but they should be able to get Medicaid. I work for anthem Blue Cross Blue shield and they have a anthem health keepers Medicaid that you should be able to get in fact that's where I got mines through the Medicaid with the state where I live in and I was able to get the anthem HealthKeepers Medicaid which a lot of providers do take. I wish I could talk to you to find out what you have but checking to Medicaid with the state where you are and ask them about pre-existing conditions being wiped away with Obamacare? You two should be able to get Medicaid but then again that is based on income as well. I hope things work out for you because not to have insurance and then have your kids with pre-existing conditions that is not good. Let me know if I can help otherwise
