So I setup a Z Voice account to test, and then installed the Zoho sms extension for sms in CRM. Thus far it is pretty sweet. It shows them like a conversation. If you have not looked at it I recommend trying it. It basically creates another field in the crm record and then stores all the sms there.
P.S. Same way Zoho has a sheet view of data, having a Tables view of data, would be terrific to provide that in-line editing capability but in a nice UI
Can't agree with the comment that Tables has gotten better - it has pretty much not had an update since they opened it for general availability. It desperately needs an embed function - this is what really helped Airtable catch fire, as a way to add little database records into documents, websites, etc.. Tables also has no dashboard functionality, which they promised at launch was coming soon, so I'm hoping the flow integration is then a precursor to them connecting analytics, and that's a precursor to them adding dashboards. The biggest thing Zoho can do here is deep integration with writer and tables. If within writer, I can a) embed tables but even better b) easily create a table (and assuming they give Writer a pageless format) then Zoho could catch up with the likes of Notion, Clickup, and now even Google Doc which all let you blend data within a document format, which seems to be a popular way for people to consume information
