Britain was establishing colonies and looting and killing them. Feudal system was abolished in India. India is on way to certain amount of prosperity. Abject poverty is in single digits. In 6 years India will be a low-middle income country. Don’t forget the large population to handle. So everything is not right but improvements are happening. As an example. America still allows gun culture. That was an old requirement coming in second amendment when America was what you called the Wild West. It’s still there. But America is rich, people don’t die of hunger. So here too things will improve.
