I live an house away from sealy and has worked out in sealy before. I pass by the Hennessey race track a lot but never knew we had this much awesome near Houston. Thumbs up john Hennessey you make Texans proud. Oh and I helped build that new Carl's Jr on exit 709 on I-10 so that's nice.

I own a Raptor, and it's one of the most versatile vehicles I've ever seen. You can tow with it, haul crap with it, we use it as a camera truck, it has a luxurious interior with all the technology you'd need, it's comfortable for a road trip, cool enough to bring to a car show, and can run the Baja 1000 in completely stock trim with a roll cage and warranty intact. It's heavy, just like all other trucks. Besides that, what's not to like?
@@Anonymous-wu4rw For 70K you get nothing, except a bill for the inevitable lawsuit you've had to file after you find Hennessey has taken your money and truck, stripped it for parts and left it sat up in his shop for 6 months.

I always had a passion for this truck. It's a really bad ass truck and it's easy to take off road or even be on the road.. I love that because you can easily put a truck in 4wd but this truck. It feels comfortable in dirt/mud situations because it had that in mind while being built. Congrats ford.

Chris Chandler for 16k$ i could put a transmission rated to 900 horse in my truck along with a brand new 572 big block putting down 720 hp at the crank, and then throw on a turbo kit and id be pulling well over 600 rwhp and still have the nastiest offroad pickup in town.
im definitely taking everything into account. ive done loads of motor changes from sbc's to bbc's and bbc's to sbc's. but thats saying id lose like 120 horse from the crank and i doubt itd be that much so id still probably have easily over 600. and eat up trucks like the raptor

I've had mine up North on some Michigan mud roads. He ain't lying about cleaning it for the next four days. Dirt gets in all kinds of places on that damn truck, and it takes at least 3 washes before you stop seeing mud in rinse.

This is great video editingfor its time. great stuff
Beautiful sound
the 800 upgrade is very expensive, it requires a full engine and transmission rebuild.
so im pretty sure this truck is a good first truck right?.... right
The Drive video's absolutely nail getting the engine sounds recorded right. Better than top gear I rekon!
already a very powerful truck, $16K in suspension would make it a hell of a lot faster off pavement than motor upgrades.
so matt, between this and the sdhq eco-raptor, which do you like better?
