This episode showcases our first day at Whitfield Estate in Northumberland. Jonathan and his team were invited to shoot a walked up day, with the added bonus of a chance at grouse.

Excellent video, was up near Whitfield over the weekend on the Tyne trying to catch a salmon, but love that area and once the lottery win happens will be booking a days shooting

Hi Chris. The birds at didn't get shot would likely get shot on another day. If not shot yes they would go on to live wild or possibly be eaten by predators. I'm glad you like the film, we love making them. Jonathan

What kind of exchangeable shock did you use in your shotguns with your shotgun, what number of lead did you use, if you can answer thank you !!!!! I'm from Brazil !
Greetings from England. No exchangeable stocks, two different guns. One gun was a 16 gauge from Longthorne and the other a cheap Turkish .410/36 gauge. We only used size 6 shot on this day.
Brilliant nice video of a good rough shoot in a nice place and it was nice to see you shooting for once instead of being behind the camera makes a nice change I bet
Lovely to shoot and a real privilege but I do find myself trying to take the camera still haha. The team have done a great job and loads more shoots to come. Jonathan
great footage as always .have you treated yourself to a longthorne or was it a loan ,very nice tool either way .
We do a lot of work with Longthorne so their team have allowed me to use a series of their incredible guns for these films. You should see the 20g, its amazing! I'm waiting on my .410! Thanks again.

These walked up days are very reasonable, contact Stuart at Whitfield for info. You'll love film 3 Trystan, driven grouse with our 20 gauge and 24g 6's. Some incredible shooting and film. Thanks for your comment.

Exactly. Big bags have their place and its a privilege to shoot those days but this is were most start, where I started! I love nothing more than a walk up, good food and friends. Jonathan
