The problem is not the V/A itself, the problem are the large telecommunication companies that are taking BILLIONS of dollars to supposedly bring rural areas broadband internet. 4 years or maybe 5 years ago there was all this hype about states and these companies getting millions of tax dollars. WHERE is that money? Because many of us CANNOT partake in some of these V/A benefits because we don't have rural internet broadband at all. i.e. I am constantly told I can be setup for a video conference (80 miles from nearest hospital) until they realize I have no broadband. We don't even have cell service out here that is stable. I get all my meds via the mail.. and that is faster than any internet service we have out here. lol Anyhow, VA is getting better but it is others also impacting us and the V/A directly that needs to be addressed. With the power of the V/A maybe you could start pushing those internet companies to freaking run broadband to the rest of us.

I have been waiting many years, I am about 5 miles from town. The only option is dial up or satellite internet. The problem is Satellite internet is very expensive, only can use a very limited amount of browsing download/upload., The speeds can very, but on average is very slow.
I remember during the presidential race in 08, 12, 20, that Obama/ Biden were promising the Internet out in the rural areas of America.
