Hi There, loved your looper demo, hoping you can update it based on the new firmware upgrade recently. Some no so great things happening with the looper as a result and keen to see if you have any work arounds. Cheers
Dear Mr. Pedal Guy, I come to you as a humble explorer of excellent tone and shreddage. I recently plugged my Ampero MP-100 into My Ampero Stomp II as the effects loop. If works great, but I would love to see you do a deep dive into the best way to run it and set it up. Is that a possibility for a future video? K, love you, bye 👋 !
Very informative Looper Introduction. I have a problem with the Ampero stomp loop function: The Footswitch Buttons does react when I let them go, not at the moment when I press the buttons. So timing is very uncomfortable.
It's excelent that you make these videos to get more indepth with the ampero, very helpful, I would like to see a comparison between the ampero and the HX stomp , to see which was more DSP power and better efects, I've been trying to know that since I have not decided which one to by
Is it possible to change preset when the looping is playing using only the 3 integrated footswitches without using the external switch? Thank you so much
Hey there - I have a question with the Ampero II. I want to use it in a live situation for guitar, bass AND a synth. Not all at the same time though!. I'd set up all the patches for each instrument separately. Could I use a small mixer BEFORE the Ampero II, and plug the guitar, bass and synth (stereo) into separate channels on the mixer, and have the master L/R outputs go into the Ampero II? This would save me having to plug and unplug three different instruments into the Ampero II during the set. On that note, can input source also be set with individual patches? So if I select the patch I want to use with the synth, it would be set to 'line'. Any advice appreciated!
Well done ...like the pen for the touch screen ...so we ccould see what your pressing...smart Why, in heck though, whoever that makes these loopers ,have a 1 2 3 4 count in and record automaticly or a 1 2 3 count for swing and record automatically? No pressing buttons except to start the count thats on a tempo ? Guess what line 6 spider jam is the only one i know that does this....its STILL the best looper ever! Your are going to get a well timed loop almost 100 percent of the time
Hello Mr. Pedal Guy. I've a question. On my Ampero, when I have drum going and I loop over that with SYNC On the loop stays in SYNC but if I stop it and restart, it goes off-time. Hotone's user manual says that it will go off but my question is what is the need for the SYNC button? Nobody wants to go off, right? I have sent the customer support to at least keep the SYNC ON by default and for some reason anyone wants SYNC off it can then be manually put off. But my question is, is there any work around? Thanks in advance.
Thanks for the vids on the Ampero Stomp2. Contrary to your video, the looper does NOT let me switch sounds on overdub… I have been trying to get it to do this all afternoon, but each time you change patch, the recorded loop also changes - which is a complete bummer. I tried this both on the fly, and also stopping the recorded loop, changing tone and then overdubbing… every time, it changes to the new patch on the previously recorded loop. I am on the latest firmware (1.03). Even did a full factory reset, but it makes no difference. Also, if you engage the looper by pressing and holding the middle button, there is a blast of sound of the patch that would be activated if you were just doing a short press just before it switches to the looper screen. These two issues are so annoying and unprofessional I am on the point of returning the unit for a refund. I haven’t altered any global settings since the factory reset… If you think that I am doing something obvious wrongly, please let me know, otherwise the Ampero Stomp2 isn’t fit for purpose imo.
Hi ! When i use post mode it can't be record in usb when u start play your loop, its recording only live playing, not loop. in pre mode everything recording on usb but in this mode everything work only with one patch =/
Hi! I’ve got the Hotone ampero II due to your videos! Do you know if there is any place where we can download packs of presets? Love your videos! I’m learning a lot with them!
@@ThePedalGuy thanks for your response! I know that one, but it is very poor (less than 1% compared by bias of fender tone) :( Hope there are artist/players eager to create and even sell tones/packs! Have a nice weekend!
@@TungstenOvergaard give it time. The Ampero 2 has been in pretty short supply so there aren’t that many on the market at the moment. Once more people get their hands on it, there will be more content
The looper is still a bit of a miss for me. It isn't as accurate as a ditto, even though there's a definite improvement between the original ampero and this one
The looper sucks in most of the multieffects: they really do NOT support live performances. Ampero is not an exception, unfortunately. The last multi pedal that could do job well as I remember was the Zoom 3Gn series. I asked Hotone Ampero in an email to develop a simple 1 switch looper pedal with "1 touch for stop loop" (there are some silly pedals that require 2 touches to stop a loop). HX Stomp is a sucker too: it requires 2 quick stomps to stop a loop - terribly angry of them. It makes HX Stomp a crap for many one-man-band guys.
I love pedals, & so do you!
Lol

Good suggestion
Thank you sharing Sir. Does it have a capo function?
You mean transposition?
thank you for this. i dont have this unity yet but i'm looking forward to get it. very nice content!
I appreciate the kind words.
Great video. Thank you my friend.
Thx
have you tried the Boomerang iii phrase sampler ?
I have not

Would you reccomend this for acoustic guitar as well? For example, could this be used at a live gig with an acoustic guitar? Thanks
Hi Scott, is it possible to move around different patches in one Bank? Like P00-2, P02-3 and P29-1 all on one bank
You should be able to do that with the editor.

Did you find the solution to this?
fw2 is not un-doing last take of overdub- any idea - is that a fw bug?
Is possible that with a future software update they'll add the drum machine?
I wouldn’t bet on it. This pedal is aimed at a sightly different target audience
Hi, my looper does change the sound of the loop recorded after i change to another preset. what can i do?
Dear PG, could you please suggest, is it possible to record the prepared loop into DAW somehow in order to save it?

Can you save your loop in the unit itself and if so how many loops can you save to bring up on a later date?
Hi. Thanks for the question. No it’s a phrase looper so it does not store loops. It’s meant to be used in an improv/live setting
