- First, the parties involved in this were back on the ship the next day looking quite dapper as if nothing happen. I wish them a safe recovery. What happened is unknown and none of my business.
What I am showing with the footage I captured is how a at sea medical emergency evacuation happens and all steps taken to make sure all parties get to safety. Identities of those involved are unknown and not shown.
Thank you to the Canadian Coast Guard for helping the party in need.
Approximate location of this taking place was between Graham Island and north of Vancouver Island.

Just a correction, that's not a Canadian Coast Guard helicopter. It's RCAF Search & Rescue, probably from 442 Squadron in Comox.

9th floor front facing spacious window cabin, it was definitely a front row seat.
