I've always loved this song, but I've also always understood that the lyrics are completely contradictory. Half the song advocates for individual rights while the other half of the song advocates for a strong Federal Government that will quash those same individual rights. I love this song, but it's just a hodgepodge of bullshit. NOFX themselves probably laugh at those who actually think that this song is some kind of manifesto. Don't be fooled: this is a great "catchy" song, but that's all it is. Cool video, though! Nice work!

Perhaps you should read the lyrics again; In this song, NOFX advocates for Government control over individual rights. In other words, this is a "catchy" song, and not the Punk Rock anthem as NOFX intended it to be. Lastly, I think the Democratic Party should play this song at the Democratic Presidential Convention, because it's an all-time pro-establishment song.
