My band sightread this yesterday (first band class) It was terrible
nice played, but i dont get why the timpani player used the wrong timpani at the end of the song.
I was thinking the same!
Playing this with my Euphonium was hard

Bass trombone! No depth and resonance at all. Just blast bleargh brap brap. No different from a motorcycle exhaust. Poor tonal concept. Sorry.
