So relatable. I came from tech background writing formal docs. Didn't know anything about copywriting. I couldn't believe people could break all the rules and get money for it 😅 Now as a copywriter, I have changed my writing drastically. On the bandwagon now 🎉
Hi Alex, thank you for the great videos. Is it absolutely necessary for a copywriter to have a website? I have seen conflicting opinions about it and about having clients simply look at your google Docs . Some say having one's samples in google docs is unprofessional while others say it is perfectly acceptable. Please advise. Thank you so much:)
You do not need to have a website to find success as a copywriter! Many successful writers have their portfolio housed in a Google doc. :) As you grow in your career, you can always build a website at that point, but don't let this factor hold you back!
