I think a lot of people forget that when they do lists, it isn’t just what they sound like in songs. It’s technique, range, etc. so it’s not just about high notes and belting, it’s about outside of the studio, on stage, and while dancing. Other than ryujin, yuqi and ningning, i like this list.
Whoever made this list made, didnt disover deep enough i think. Espacially Yuqi after her singel releases and covers, she should be in the top two, in the lead singers list. And i think he/she picked some really bad exampels for the video. But its not a bad ranking.

They have no power vocal. Lia is above average even Yujin from IVE/ iz*one is better considering she’s like the 4th or 5th best vocalist on her previous group.
If you say about aespa, aespa is ANOTHER LEVEL for their generation. They just have 1 year experience from their debut, but the Achievements is so incredible. Now when they comeback, they alway fight with they sunbae in digital and phyisical album.
Technically speaking, main vocals should be 1. Ningning 2. Yuri 3. Chuu 4. Lia/ miyeon (both are very talented but can be inconsistent at times. Still love ‘em) 5. Mia (inconsistent) 6. Minnie (automatically at the bottom, because she doesn’t support)
@@mangocloud8314 based off what I’ve seen from her, id rank her probably 4/5 She is an opera singer, so she has classical training. But she doesn’t have a lot of versatility. She’s strongest in her head voice, for obvious reason. She is very grounded and technical. Obviously. But what when she tries and sings in lower ranges, like in her break or chest voice, it’s very weak and light. She also can’t really belt, because she’s trained to sing controlled, and light. Not that that is at all bad. Because her control gives her a good technical ability. But she’s weak when not in her head voice, and cannot belt. But her control and range is insane. But I do think chuu is way better.

I agree with all but the yena rap skills. She's actually a very good rapper speaking the fact she focuses on vocal and dance and yujins vocal and dance in eleven was everything and same with wonyoung
Yes, I agree with everything except from one thing. I think Ryujin is first place in lead dancer category. She's developed her own style and put in into idol dancing. Sometimes it works, other times it's off, BUT that's her cignature dance, and not many lead dancers have that. They usually just follow the choreography and that's it, but Ryujin makes sure every move is impactful on her way. Yeah that's all

I don't know if you've any dance background, but from my experience, not many dancers find their style yet. There's so many lead dancers who don't inject their signature style into the choreography. I believe there should be some personality in your dancing, while keeping up with the members. That's why I think Ryujin is first place. And if I lied, that would be unprofessional, and shameless. @@notyourdays Oh that's very interesting. This is the first time I've heard someone say Ryujin is overrated (maybe I've been sleeping under a rock, idk). I get what you mean. I think Yuna definitely own Itzy choreos, and she has improved drastically! Yuna also has excellent stage presence and her dancing is energetic and bouncy (something I like). Can't deny that Yuna has the whole package. My reason for why I would put/rank Ryujin higher is because of her groove and as mentioned earlier - her signature style. Sometimes I don't understand her choices in the movements, and it can come off as "weird" or "unsuitable". But this video doesn't specify if it's an "idol dance" or an "open style" ranking, but only a "dance ranking". And in general dance ranking, people (the yt creators) seem to choose choreographies outside kpop to showcase their abilities (maybe not this video, but there's a few). SO.. Ryujin makes some weird choices in Itzy choreos... HOWEVER, they seem to be fitting in OTHER choreographies... So I TRULY don't think we should jugde an Idol only on their group dances, because it doesn't show their FULL potential + it's not enough to jugde them honestly... (take Karina as an example, Im sorry for dragging you in Karina. Or take Olivia for an example. She excels in Loona choreos, but we haven't seen her dance in open style yet, and people think she's the greatest. Again Im sorry). Okay this comment makes no sense. In conclusion, Ryujin has shown her abilites in both itzy choreos and in open style, and since she excels in both of them (+ has developed a style that only speaks "Ryujin") she should be nr.1 in the lead dancer category.

imo, i think i would switch yves with heejin because both of them has similar techniques but yves has better body control. also i would switch soojin with karina because soojin is very detailed and her moves are smoother also she's consistent with her style, karina is pretty good and her moves are sharp but she underdances a lot and her body control is lacking. and i don't think EU deserves the last spot because she is a versatile dancer with sharp moves and balanced energy so i would rank her the same level as soojin or probably slightly higher. i agree with chaeryeong and yeji, their style is very different but they're on the same level of techniques etc. and lastly i would put eunbi after chaeryeong and yeji because her technique is actually similar to yeji but also to chaeryeong but she has less energy. i agree with the chaeyeon one. so my final rank would be: 1. chaeyeon 2. yeji/chaeryeong 3. eunbi 4. yves 5. heejin 6. mia 7. I personally think E:U could've had a higher rank in dancing since she and Mia doesn't have a big gap. I also think Yuri is the best vocalist among them followed by Ningning then Chuu Yuna and Ryujin def deserved to be higher in lead dancer. I'm confident enough to say that Ryujin should've been 1st while Yuna could've been placed somewhere in the top 5. For vocal lines if I remember all of these groups from an analysis I read from a professionally trained vocalist its: yuri>(NingNing probably haven't heard enough of her yet)>(Winter probably same reason as Ningning)>Lia/Chuu>Yuqi(slept on because people think highnotes are everything)>Haseul/Miyeon>Sihyeon(yes she is better than Mia in terms of technique)/Yena/Eunbi>Chaewon/Heejin>Chaeyeon/Mia>Minnie>Yujin/Kimlip>Jinsoul/Yeji this is all based on vocal technique, your're free to have your preferences. Stability, Highnotes and A clear/sweet tone do not make you a good vocalist. Whenever you do rankings like these make sure you state that its your opinion in their voice so people don't get confused and think that Chuu is better than other vocalists. For Vocal lines its: Izone (Loona and Izone are only high because their amount of decent vocals bumps them up) Loona Aespa Idle/Itzy Everglow byebye!

Chuu is closer to miyeon in terms of vocal technique. Even if this is your opinion technically its Yuri>>>Chuu>Lia>MIyeon=Haseul>Mia>Minni I haven't heard enough of ning but she and yuri are the only idols on this list who can support properly so she might be better or worse than yuri

Haseul is not that great, her musical background does not do her justice when Chuu is clearly the best vocalist in Loona. Lia is just more proficient in her mid register while almost every loona vocalists just strains in their high registers. Lia=Chuu>Haseul
Karina should be higher in dance , she is a great dancer. Her control in her body and her footwork is amazing. Don't get me wrong but I think that she is better than E:U and Mia and I think she should be in the visual category. She is one of the most beautiful idols in the 4th generation.

@@mangocloud8314 based off what I’ve seen from her, id rank her probably 4/5 She is an opera singer, so she has classical training. But she doesn’t have a lot of versatility. She’s strongest in her head voice, for obvious reason. She is very grounded and technical. Obviously. But what when she tries and sings in lower ranges, like in her break or chest voice, it’s very weak and light. She also can’t really belt, because she’s trained to sing controlled, and light. Not that that is at all bad. Because her control gives her a good technical ability. But she’s weak when not in her head voice, and cannot belt. But her control and range is insane. But I do think chuu is way better.

Yes, I agree with everything except from one thing. I think Ryujin is first place in lead dancer category. She's developed her own style and put in into idol dancing. Sometimes it works, other times it's off, BUT that's her cignature dance, and not many lead dancers have that. They usually just follow the choreography and that's it, but Ryujin makes sure every move is impactful on her way.

I don't know if you've any dance background, but from my experience, not many dancers find their style yet. There's so many lead dancers who don't inject their signature style into the choreography. I believe there should be some personality in your dancing, while keeping up with the members. That's why I think Ryujin is first place. And if I lied, that would be unprofessional, and shameless. I get what you mean. I think Yuna definitely own Itzy choreos, and she has improved drastically! Yuna also has excellent stage presence and her dancing is energetic and bouncy (something I like). Can't deny that Yuna has the whole package.
My reason for why I would put/rank Ryujin higher is because of her groove and as mentioned earlier - her signature style.
Sometimes I don't understand her choices in the movements, and it can come off as "weird" or "unsuitable".
But this video doesn't specify if it's an "idol dance" or an "open style" ranking, but only a "dance ranking". And in general dance ranking, people (the yt creators) seem to choose choreographies outside kpop to showcase their abilities (maybe not this video, but there's a few).
SO.. Ryujin makes some weird choices in Itzy choreos... HOWEVER, they seem to be fitting in OTHER choreographies...
So I TRULY don't think we should jugde an Idol only on their group dances, because it doesn't show their FULL potential + it's not enough to jugde them honestly... (take Karina as an example, Im sorry for dragging you in Karina. Or take Olivia for an example. She excels in Loona choreos, but we haven't seen her dance in open style yet, and people think she's the greatest. Again Im sorry).

In conclusion, Ryujin has shown her abilites in both itzy choreos and in open style, and since she excels in both of them (+ has developed a style that only speaks "Ryujin") she should be nr.1 in the lead dancer category.

1) Yena has a more develop lower register than Chaewon and Chaeyeon
2) She has shown shallow support along with Chaewon but Chaeyeon still hasn’t shown any type of support yet due to OTR shitty line distribution
3) Chaeyeon has this tendency off singing through her nose which makes her a little nasal

imo, i think i would switch yves with heejin because both of them has similar techniques but yves has better body control. also i would switch soojin with karina because soojin is very detailed and her moves are smoother also she's consistent with her style, karina is pretty good and her moves are sharp but she underdances a lot and her body control is lacking. and i don't think EU deserves the last spot because she is a versatile dancer with sharp moves and balanced energy so i would rank her the same level as soojin or probably slightly higher. i agree with chaeryeong and yeji, their style is very different but they're on the same level of techniques etc. and lastly i would put eunbi after chaeryeong and yeji because her technique is actually similar to yeji but also to chaeryeong but she has less energy. i agree with the chaeyeon one. so my final rank would be:

I haven't heard enough of ning but she and yuri are the only idols on this list who can support properly so she might be better or worse than yuri
@@nakoeuns8520 shes not, shes a below average opera artists and struggles with nasality, Lia has almost 0 problems with nasality and has a good grasp of support, as expected of a former SM trainee. Haseul is not that great, her musical background does not do her justice when Chuu is clearly the best vocalist in Loona. Lia is just more proficient in her mid register while almost every loona vocalists just strains in their high registers. Lia=Chuu>Haseul

Karina should be higher in dance , she is a great dancer. Her control in her body and her footwork is amazing. Don't get me wrong but I think that she is better than E:U and Mia and I think she should be in the visual category. She is one of the most beautiful idols in the 4th generation.
