I knew a guy who was half rarotonga but grew up in NZ. When his son was a baby he had bad excema in the folds of his arms. His dad chewed the kawakawa and bandaged it onto his excema. Left it on for a few days. When removed excema was gone and NEVER came back. So it IS a antihistamine.

greenio52 hey! If you can find some kawakawa in the Bush just take some and put it in your garden. Don’t forget, kawakawa trees need to be planted near bigger trees like a feijoa I guess
