    Also a very important factor that 35 or so gurkha engaged and masacared japanese army because of their war tactic. It is clearly defined in gurkha vs french foreign legion. Not a single gurlha died in that battle and gurkha British officer of Burma state it as one of the most clear victory as their was no loss.

    Gorkhali word is known for the people who were from Gorkha, Nepal. King Prithivi Narayan shah(1723 AD-1775 AD) started to conquer and join many small kingdoms to one and made it Nepal. During his conquest, he made a pile of noses and ears out of his victim with whom he had lost battles before as well as his right hand soldier+friend, Kalu Panday. It was his way to humiliate, revenge and maintain fear among them, that were under his regime now. Gorkhali were cunning and ruthless in their ways of war and definitely first to use gorilla warfare. At the moment, India itself was made of many kings and kingdoms and was conquered by British. After which they tried to conquer Nepal as well but after few battles they were at awe at what they saw: madness, ruthless and bravery without fear. Realizing that it's hard yet possible to conquer Nepal but at a heavy loss, they came up with the unfavorable treaty that we were forced to chew on. We kinda lost to British and were forced to make a treaty where they took our huge part of land and joined it to East India company. Not only that but it was British who made a Gorkhali regiment in East India company to maintain control over India against locals and foreign forces as well. It was not for the count or lack of trust that they cut the ears of Japanese but to spread fear among them. Eventually when British lost their control over India, they still wanted Gorkhali, hence the British Gorkha Army. As for your question to why Gorkhali left their rifles, it's because Gorkhali were and is known for their gorilla war tactics with our national weapon, Khukuri. By the time enemies notice what's going on it's too late, khukuri has slit their throats out of nowhere.
    But you said, gorilla warfare is new tactic and was taught to Gorkhali by India! Well isn't that true shit,😂😂😂 that Gorkhali forgot their own ways and were re-taught by India. How good the British and India was to want our untrained solders and train them their own ways, their own history, right?😂Buddha was yours, Sita was yours, gorilla warfare was yours, Gorkhali was yours. Bhai, sometimes claim our corrupt politicians too yar. At least British give credits where it's due unlike you guys that claims to love us as equal brothers but then again put yourself higher than us and show your sympathy towards us. You guys are so great and humble, wow. Thanks. 🙏

      Sir ,
      You have brought out vivid pictures of the Gorkha Soldier's War adsets and the commitment of the Gorkha Rifles in every Battles including the WW I and WW II.
      But I want to put forth a fact before you that in both WW I & WW II in which many Nations of the Common Wealth Countries which participated, there is no Battalions or Regiments even in the British Army which stands shining apart in its glory of achievements like the Indian Army's
      2/5 th Gorkha Riffles ( also known as 2/5 Royal Gurkha Rifles before Partition).The Bn won Three (3) VICTORIA CROSS medals in the Burma Front during the WW II.
      Even among the Gorkha Rifles the 2/5 GR stands on top even while competing the combined Gorkha Rifles.
      The VC winners are 1) Hav. Gaje Ghale 27 May 1943 2) Sub. Netra Bdr Thapa 26 June 1944 and 3) Naik Agan Singh Rai.
      So far no military Historians have brought out this fact.I would also humbly submit to you to make a separate video on this Great Achievement of a Single Unit/Bn/Regiment unmatched by even any of the regints of the British Army.
      Your honest appreciation of Gorkha Soldiers has deeply touched and won my heart. Regards 🙏🙏🙏

    Technically gurkha's already made their name before WW1. Wing qing empire invaded Nepal , gurkha's imprinted such a fear factor that 1000 to 1200 qing soilder comited sucide than face gurkha's. This fear factor is reason how boxer rebellion was also eliminated and so on. Japan may have known alittle bit because of this. As gurkha's are quite the power house in military. I mean in WW1 gurkha's made such a mark in galepoli that sir Ian Hamilton said each little gurkha soilder where worth full weight in gold. He further said if he had.more gurkha's he would not be stoped by turks in darnedel. Further more gurkha's interested him even more as gurkha used sign language as no british troop that can speak nepali were alive. Only the bravest can comand the brave. And it true that British gurkha comander where also brave. And hence why they also keep the best of their officer in gurkha regiment. In top 100 shooter of British army. 70 of those positions are taken by gurkha regiment. Knowing that only 4000 people make gurkha regiment today. This small number yet with impressive results. Gurkha remain the only British unit that need no active artilery support. And the late king of Britain once stated a place is only truly safe if protected by gurkha. Prince Harry also commented with gurkha he is in one the safest place on earth ( during Afghanistan). Gurkha a name that even was printed in 4 of royal navy ships of britan. It a shorten word from Gau rakchak. As most of nepaleae origin ansestor where cow herd men or gopala. For them cow is symbolic to mother as we drink it milk. Nepal is a land that has been invaded by many. But all those that invaded those people all requested peace first as gurkha will say if you want to fight we will fight. We will not surender and will rather die than fall behind in the challenge. Forcing the enemy to give up. This is how mother Nepal has protected us and this is how we protect our mother. India first mutiny rebels called gurkha's monkey. And then after the rebels fleed to Nepal. Gurkha allowed them to stay. But some of the rebels started to recruit Nepalese to fight British, I mean they couldn't even get Indian to fight British ,which the Nepalese leader didn't want as we paid the price by our blood already also Nepal never got any help from Indian kingdome when British attacked , Making the leader to kill the rebels who took refuge. The same rebels that mocked gurkha's. The rebels even offered 6 time more pay than British. But gurkha are loyal. If you are refuge why stir trouble in Nepal. That being said Nepalese even supported in defending Sikh empire from British. (prime minister of Nepal at that period even lost his relative in that battle), even if the Sikh attacked gurkha previously in land that was neither Sikh or gurkha but rather of Nepalese origin, despite this many Nepalese son perished defending the last Indian empire. Gurkha have faught many war. And it not because of our soilder that impressed the British but because of our civilian. British fuaght Nepalese army 5 time. But faught and destroyed 200 villages. Each one proveing to being resistance. They saw that we treated their soilder and our own. We didn't keep them as prisoner. And showed them the way to their camp. Some of these British army even send a portion of there penison to those family that saved their lives. This and our bravery just made Britain to give us something that they never gave to any of their enemy till date. Even now Nepal has a monument from britan stating how britan and Nepalese are equal. This is one of a kind monument that britan has never given to any other enemy just Nepal. At a time before other race where considered equal. May be because of this gurkha grave in turkey are along the British army. I mean in turkey a beach was renamed as gurkha beach and a high strategic location as gurkha bluff during WW1. As even the supreme general didn't believe that strategic location was even possible to be controled. Gurkha truly amaze their friend and enemy.

    Gorkhas contribution towards India's indepedence, kargil war etc is immense. There's no any war which Gorkha soldiers have not fought. And most importantly one thing what we need to know is in all these war where our brothers gave sacrifice of their life now it seems they were being used by others to fight their battles. But the Gorkhas proved it, they have fought along side by side Subash chandra bose any many more to get India independent. But no written documents are to be found becasuse in the history we are just being used and now if we say anything they call us chinese, or foreign origin etc ..... This is pathetic, this is the gift we got in return of our brothers sacrifice and sadly this a harsh reality.

      No gorkha unit never joined INA, not even the POW in Malaysia and Singapore, they didn’t join INA because our gorkha king and nation was loyal to allied forces and British government. Intact INA was crushed in burma campaign by allied forces including gorkhali.

But he did not get anything from the British Government for his loyal service, he deserve. Otherthan a medel in which his name Harkajit Rai 1939-1947 and 7GR is mentioned on. my father is no more with us but I still have the medel and a hundred Rupees Japanese bank note with me. Which was brought from Burma according to him 14th January 2023. Dharan 13 Sunsari Nepal.

    Gurkha used to take japanese prisoner but one time when japanese surender gurkha came near and japanese took there gun and fire back. Because of this gurkha never took any prisoner. Because they lost their chance. I don't know if it was just a regimnet thing or like small group. But I learned from a British officer in a video. Why gurkha didn't take prisoner. Gurkha's couldn't trust japanese.

    • @OnlineMitra
      @OnlineMitra  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think such an incident of Japanese faking surrender and then attacking was shown in a Hollywood movie where they attacked the American troops. Not sure if the incident was shown in "Saving Private Ryan" or some another movie.

    • @rimalpranav365
      @rimalpranav365 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@OnlineMitra Japanese did fake surender. It was just one of many tactic used. I mean you have to remember japanese where fighting so many different people in Burma Australian even assisted in training the native in fighting the Japanese. Despite the tension of Japan in papu newguine, you had African division, also the fact that gurkha's technically where already master of gorilla war fare. I mean 645 villager defeated 4000 British east India company soilder. The young and old villagers killed 1000 one of their enemy including the leader who said we were babaric. May be that word was a word of inspiration as kirat first king barbarik or aksah bairav could have ended the mahbharat war with his 3 arrows, also pandav had hidden their mythical wepon nepal during the time of agwat vash, finally Nepal have shaped India historically. For example muryan empire. People often remember Chandragupta murya. But they forget king parvatak of Nepal. Who chanakya had agreed to give half of muryan empire. King parvatak of a nepali kingdome went against the 16 Jan pad of India who where allowed with muryan empire, but he was mysteriously killed and there have been many stories where some say danada killed him the king of magahd band empire, where some say chanakya stoped Chandragupta from getting the medical assistance etc. Regardless king parvatak son maleketu allied with danada main advisor because of how his father died. King parvatak was living a good life. Chanakya came for assistance and king parvatak was mysteriously posioned to death just a day before his ceremony And since it was agreed between share with king parvatak and Chandragupta malaektu had no right on the big magadh, regardless to say there is always that dishonesty in war. For example India first mutiny gurkha went in Indian rebels called them monkeys and offerd 6 time more pay. But despite being outnumbered gurkha stayed with British and made the rebels flee. The rebels went to Nepal. Even after the war the rebels wanted Nepalese to fight the British instead. I mean the rebels where refugee from India. So the leader of Nepal had to kill the rebel leader as they didn't want nepealse to spill the blood. Often Indian debate if Nepal could have freed india. But then question is asked if Indian kingdome ever aided Nepal. I mean when Nepal requested the Sikh , Sikh denied assistance. But history is proof that Nepalese went to protect the Sikh from British and many high noblemen of Nepal perished some even relative of prime minister of that period. For century Nepal politics have debated fight or remain ally to british. I mean security of Nepal and it people is everything, one thing British understand was that Nepalese ethnic people shall not be transported over sea to work. Because Nepal will object right
      I mean Nepal of that period went war with qing and Tibet just because how they treated Nepalese merchant. I mean the karma of that battle is still seen today. Panseng Lana (2nd only to dalai Lama said that they will pay Nepal 50000 ruppes, Nepal agreed Tibet never paid. They got qing instead and qing faught Nepal and Tibet and qing never got anything from Nepal except a battle. Then qing controled Tibet for few year. And here the historical reason why today china claims Tibet. I mean the wealth of Tibet. Reincarnatied Panseng Lama today is captured by china. And you can argue that there was some debt to pay, similarly the first northern empire to fall in British hand was the Mughal of Bengal.who also faught with gurkha's. I mean Mughal send men to attack swambunath and their soilder where converted to Nepalese , the king of Nepal stated. They are in my land so they are my people. Therefore he gave them an option to stay in Nepal and be free from Mughal duties..with a palce to call home and worship by allowing to build majid. When such action is taken who will send there men to destroy temple with fear of losing them. This is Nepal where Sikh guru Nanak also came with his follower. He was a founder of Sikhism and his decippe decided to stay in Nepal where the women and they themself were safe. Often people treat Nepal as small nation. Nepalese origin from Kash/khas language. If you realize that Kash mir (India/paksitan) Kash mar (Iran), Kash Ghar (china), Kash mere (Pakistan), Kash provience Afghanistan you realise so many place have Kash roots or have been named after these people. They are not people of Nepal but have had similar ansestor. In India Kash or khas where humiliated and therefore they lost their identity, many chose Islam as a way out as Indian Hindu will harass them. Often people see conversion by Islam as main reason but you realise that Hindu are equally the reason for the division. In Nepal Muslim leader want Nepal to be recognized as a hindu nation. Gurkha are khas and kirati. Both have been known in Mahabharata. People often say nepali and Hindi is similar. And nepali is so similar to Albania as well I mean not just the language list Esto as Estee but in tradition Albanian clothes with traditional pahdee clothes of nepalese.kahs /Kash make 70 to 80% of Nepal. Our closest blood line are people of the Caspian region. We are Kash /khas gotta. Arabic people call it Kash for some reason. That have influenced the wording. Chinese know us as yartsee tribe, often people say oh kirati look Mongolian and so on. But even khas came from Tibet to Nepal. , I mean khas people where in Kazakhstan, Iran, Afghanistan, India (even in historical Indus valley region), Pakistan, china , Bhutan and northern Bangladesh. Kash/khas get the name from the city of kish in Iran. This is where Iranian agriculture came to south Asia. Where pipeline from irrigation to sewage system in Indus valley , where Babylonian tradition such as use of right hand and left hand. Which is further aided by the number system. You can argue kahs of Nepal are gopals. That why word Gau rakchak or protected of cow became gurkha. As the word is shorten which is seen in British navy as well as 4 royal navy ship have been named after them, as for me I am a rimal. I am a decendent of nuwacoat rimal , a tital given by prithivi Narayan Saha to my ansestor who gave him the victory plan to defeat nuwacoat. This is the first place where unity of Nepal took place where khas and kirati became one. I myself am a khas but I am a nepali first. To make Nepal kiratlast king gave his kingdome to unify Nepal. Khas and kirati are equal in warfare. Their is no superiority among our seleves. With the tecahing of mother Nepal. Nepali kingdome can fight anything. Historically banasur was the last known person lord Krishna faught his fort can be found in today India. He was a nepali king and he was a person that lord Krishna said was the strongest in his era. Where Mahabharata they used wepon from heaven and lord Shiva and so on. But banasur had lord Shiva as his body guard. And banasur also gave his head to lord Krishna. (This is ironic because it was after the Mahabharata war) and barbarik gave before the Mahabharata war. A Nepalese king of west and Nepalese king of east both gave there head before and after the war. It is said lord Krishna faught banasur so that their won't be such weapons for the next yuga. Anyways I am going on and on. But their is definitely a spiritual power. I believe that guard Nepal. You may or may not know but even in India gurkha rifile.their will be a priest/astrologer atleast I have met someone who was the priest in Indian gurkha regiment. I don't know if every regiment in India has such person such as pastors for American / chaplan etc. It will be interesting to know. Now I only know this because I have met someone like that. I know there is cook, enginer and so on but also in regiment specific religious/dharmic leaders.
