Thank you for sharing this powerful story of love and resilience Catherine Your journey with Lily is truly inspiring and reminds us all that family is about love and support I appreciate you opening up and allowing us to witness this beautiful relationship
This was a great story and finally someone y to thought about adopting a child instead of going on and on about not being able to have kids. This was what loving parents do they find away to have kids and share the love they have . Keep the great stories going …. 😅😅😅😅
The one I feel sorry for is Sarah's son. He won't know the love and companionship of his cousins. All because of his mother's selfishness and nastiness. I love my cousins they are great.
🧐 How much younger were those sisters? She went through 4 years of college and a year or two post-college, yet still none of them are 18 years old and able to contact her if they want?
The parents were wrong. They subjected their daughter to that awful treatment n cruel words over n over. Then when she started drawing into herself THEN they decide not to make Lily go to these family gatherings? Are you freaking kidding me? After the 2nd time of that treatment making her feel she wasn't apart of family because not same blood they should have cut off all ties to that sister. This angers me so much. And I'm sorry if people disagree but this is parents fault. They allowed the mental trauma to go on to their daughter. That poor child. No matter what that is ALWAYS going to stay with her.
My sister adopted her youngest granddaughter. Her #2 daughter said she would never consider her a sister. So... I adjusted my investments. All 4 of the girls are in for a quarter of what I had invested. The same girl has passed away. I changed things again with my beneficiaries are my surving neices, cutting her children out. 2 can play that game.
this is another AI story. there are clear tell-tale signs and phrases. she went into economics, she works in the "economics" department? that is not a thing in companies...
"How did I become your daughter?" "Well...We spent about $50,000 to buy you from the kiddie farm. ...I mean, we 'adopted' you from the 'orphanage." "...But...isn't that the same thing?"
Most of time. They dont want to get involved in inlaws family drama. They feel the need to support their wifes even if they are wrong and dont want to be seen as bad guys so they stay out of it. Its wrong you should always be able to tell your wife shes wrong when she is
The exact same Sagas of woe, escape and revenge, the exact same clichés, lifting of weight of shoulders, the washing over of feelings, all these HR videos are a carbon copy of each other with just some minor tweaks.
I was adopted and had wonderful parents! I’m great full for them and the birth mother that gave me my life
Sarah's son doesn't deserve a mother like her.

My parents did the same to my oldest sister. Made my sister rough around the edges but she is the best sister I could have ever hoped for.
Interesting plot well narrated congrats 🎉
Good story
Usually happens in a traditional family. The eldest has to sacrifice for nothing. Good for Catherine to put her foot down.
Sarah is the poster child for entitlement and toxicity.

@DeniseWilliams-jr5xo, I completely agree.

Because of overbearing abusive type parents. Even after they married...parents probably had them trapped in a Stockholm syndrome type of control!!!
I was thinking the same thing when they couldn’t attend the wedding!
Great Story ❤️

Stop inviting her to the family reunion or you can stop going to the reunion
OP can take Lily and hubby to meet with the good sisters, ignore Sarah. She is toxic, just go NC with her. 😮

A good story severely marred by a very badly programmed AI TTS voice. 🤨
I would not have anything to do with Sarah and her family, just the other two sisters and their family members.
"How did I become your daughter?"

No more babies 😢
Why she keep going, she doesn’t need to go her kid first 🥴
It sux when a partners want a child so bad it doesnt work and theres others just pop them when thier not to be a mother
What happens with their spouse? Are they all divorcee or what?
