I have never heard the guitar sound this good before today. I was improvising over this song before watching the video, and what I came up with was just elementary school compared to the sounds you're pulling out. Incredible

Awesome bro, I really feel like there isnt enough black guitarists on TH-cam. Your style brings me back to how my uncle played back in the day before he passed. Great playing !

Nice to see you doing that old school soul/r&b especially from the 70s , which is where my favorite music was released

I have loved this tune and played it with a couple bands since the 90s. I have noticed everyone plays the fm7 and em7 chords and then at the end when they lock in the grove I use the Wes Montgomery /George Benson style sliding octaves. I love the GM7 playing the 7th arpeggios either in the high or low strings mostly unwound strings. My lead approach tends to be about wide intervals mixing major and minor pentatonics of different roots as no one scale has all butter notes. I sort of voice lead and then play quick shkort licks over the underlying chords.using chord tones with chromatic slides into the 4 tones,. With 2 guitars and no keys we have less freedom to play as many outside notes because l find the under lying drone of the organ makes the song more open and allows the guitarist to lay back and play behind the time. Creating a supe laid back feel with the strat bell like sweet notes that really bloom and sparkle having more emotional impact. Awesome video and killer feel and Vibe.

It would be very nice if you could go deeply inside of the chords movements that you used between the chords changes, on the theory aspects so we could tranfer that knowledge to others keys. Thank you so much for your lessons man. Greetings from Argentina
