it is a shame but y'all (women and girly men) tend to leave the upmost important thing about it out, which is the fact that every person has a battle to fight within. Her dad too. Not an excuse at all since if he couldn't deal with raising a child then why would he put his seed in some women's, right? But to say that the "dog was more important to him than his own daughter" is just a trash thing to believe in not to mention claiming it outright. Many of times, it is the mother of the children the father gets disgusted by so much so that the children (who tend to be more like their mother when the father is not in control of his family) actually remind their father of their mother, who is the problem in the father's eyes and so go figure, he leaves without the kids. I was thinking the same thing, because she said he was 30 and everything she said described the situation. I don’t know, but if I can find out the whole story. I would take her in I just need to make sure her family isn’t crazy. And no harm with come to me from doing it. This broke my heart! She just needs to be on her meds and to be loved. Hello Marcus.. What im about to say, I truly hope you take into consideration and not brush it off. I understand this channel is your business and its one of the ways you make your money. I enjoy the content you provide. However, I am a woman first, so it is my duty to speak up when I feel something is not done right. I assume you mean no harm, and are just trying to build good content, but I really hope that you can give some thought into what im saying. Like this young girl, I had some traumatic experiences in my past as well, and every person has to build-up to a point where they are comfortable discussing those deep traumas. The motivation for them to even get on camera in the first place, is one of desperation in itself. You provide a few dollars to them and that's a great motivator when one is broke, and you know this. This girl is 18, and just told you she recently experienced something traumatic, so I'm not understanding why keep pushing her for details when its clearly all over her face how uncomfortable she was. I realized men may not always pick up emotionally like women can, but you have 2 beautiful daughters, and Im sure you would fight tooth and nail to make sure they aren't a victim to the streets. So im asking you in the future, maybe try to pay attention and know when not to push. This girl just met you, so to her you are still a stranger. If she did want to discuss those things, she would probably have to see you a few times before she can talk more. That long pause after you asked her if she has to sell her body, was so uncomfortable even for ME.. you actually stood there and waited trying to get her to break. Thats no different than the abuse she just encountered. Me telling a man no, but he's gonna keep begging me until I get fed up, and say, "Here dammit!" That aint right.. and some men out here will wear a woman down with no remorse, as long as he gets what he wants in the end. I am happy she stood her ground. My apologies for the rant. But a week in the lady he rents a room from told him she needed to go so he left too. He left at his job at Waffle House and is now homeless. Allegedly she is now away from him either in hospital or back with her mother in Georgia. Allegedly the cash app acct is fake so don't donate to it it's a scam. Another guy took this guy's footage and put it on tiktok where it went viral over 1.3 million views. So Lui is not with Laila anymore he is alone on the streets.

Yes! When my brother first got out it was so sad. 😞 One day instinctively he asked me could he go to the bathroom. He’d keep his back against the wall, he’d walk against the wall in a straight line, wait for someone to “pop” doors, and was always scanning the room to. Now that awareness is a plus, because he’s a CDL driver & constantly scanning the road is second nature for him.

Around the 20 minute mark when she starts ignoring your questions, she was feeling uncomfortable. You should have left her alone at that point. No young woman who was just sexually assaulted feels comfortable with a way older strange man telling her how beautiful she is, regardless of their intentions. And I know from experience. I was getting hit on by older men at age 15.
Just a bit of advice, try and ask open-ended questions. Questions that can’t be answered w yes or no. “What was your childhood like?” “Tell me some memories from childhood that stick out”. “What, if any, mental illnesses have you been diagnosed with?” You’re the pro. Not trying to sound wiser or better. I did a year of counselor work with the unhoused and a lot of times they rely on yes or no responses. If you can word the questions open-ended, it can evoke more descriptive responses. Many of them want to open up, but that hyper-vigilance and fear of being exploited by everyone can keep them in yes or no responses. ❤

I think parents should watch these videos and think twice about throwing their children out into the streets when they turn 18. I remember my mother's friend did that to her children the day they turned 18 she put them out the house at 8am, luckily for them the grandma took them in otherwise they would have been on the street.
That’s how I found this channel. I saw someone mention that these two adopted kids were thrown out on their 18th bday by their adopted parents & that the dad is a Bishop. Every one deserves a chance her eyes are sad and it reminds me of my younger 19 year old self. I was homeless at 19 in a different country and fighting for my life to survive in a country that I wasn’t even born in. I am a good example of what prayer, courage can do. Something that I realized about people is that no one’s life is really more complicated than anyone else’s, it just boils down to the type of support you have around you and the type of coping skills you learn. If you have bad parents, are surrounded by bad people, and you never learn any real coping skills for dealing with emotional distress, you will most likely go in the wrong direction.

Like this young girl, I had some traumatic experiences in my past as well, and every person has to build-up to a point where they are comfortable discussing those deep traumas. The motivation for them to even get on camera in the first place, is one of desperation in itself. You provide a few dollars to them and that's a great motivator when one is broke, and you know this.
This girl is 18, and just told you she recently experienced something traumatic, so I'm not understanding why keep pushing her for details when its clearly all over her face how uncomfortable she was.
I realized men may not always pick up emotionally like women can, but you have 2 beautiful daughters, and Im sure you would fight tooth and nail to make sure they aren't a victim to the streets. So im asking you in the future, maybe try to pay attention and know when not to push.
This girl just met you, so to her you are still a stranger. If she did want to discuss those things, she would probably have to see you a few times before she can talk more. That long pause after you asked her if she has to sell her body, was so uncomfortable even for ME.. you actually stood there and waited trying to get her to break. Allegedly she is now away from him either in hospital or back with her mother in Georgia. Allegedly the cash app acct is fake so don't donate to it it's a scam. Another guy took this guy's footage and put it on tiktok where it went viral over 1.3 million views. So Lui is not with Laila anymore he is alone on the streets.

Yes! When my brother first got out it was so sad. 😞 One day instinctively he asked me could he go to the bathroom. He’d keep his back against the wall, he’d walk against the wall in a straight line, wait for someone to “pop” doors, and was always scanning the room to. Now that awareness is a plus, because he’s a CDL driver & constantly scanning the road is second nature for him.

Around the 20 minute mark when she starts ignoring your questions, she was feeling uncomfortable. You should have left her alone at that point. No young woman who was just sexually assaulted feels comfortable with a way older strange man telling her how beautiful she is, regardless of their intentions. And I know from experience. I was getting hit on by older men at age 15.
Just a bit of advice, try and ask open-ended questions. Questions that can’t be answered w yes or no. “What was your childhood like?” “Tell me some memories from childhood that stick out”. “What, if any, mental illnesses have you been diagnosed with?”
You’re the pro. Not trying to sound wiser or better. I did a year of counselor work with the unhoused and a lot of times they rely on yes or no responses. If you can word the questions open-ended, it can evoke more descriptive responses. Many of them want to open up, but that hyper-vigilance and fear of being exploited by everyone can keep them in yes or no responses. ❤

That’s how I found this channel. I saw someone mention that these two adopted kids were thrown out on their 18th bday by their adopted parents & that the dad is a Bishop.
I started looking for the full story and Marcus had the fully story here. He’s interviewed those kids several times since, (they’re twins) & there have been lots of twists and turns😳.

I was homeless at 19 in a different country and fighting for my life to survive in a country that I wasn’t even born in. I am a good example of what prayer, courage can do. At 41 I have a career a roof over my head and I’m happy. God is so good. I am praying for her and him everyone deserves a good life.

Something that I realized about people is that no one’s life is really more complicated than anyone else’s, it just boils down to the type of support you have around you and the type of coping skills you learn. If you have bad parents, are surrounded by bad people, and you never learn any real coping skills for dealing with emotional distress, you will most likely go in the wrong direction.
