I would assume that Andrey is referring to Zverev's ethnicity being Russian. Both Zverev's parents and his older brother were born in Russia. Pretty much the only thing making Zverev German is that he was born in Germany making it his nationality. Which is probably why Andrey considers him part of the Russian crew. Just my thoughts.
