How have I just found you? Lady, you have perfectly articulated my problem. My god's..I bet there's loads of us out there. Your plants..the one's you let us see, look beautiful. Thank you for the reminder. 🖤🌱🖤
This is so me last spring. Best thing i ever did. Not buying into the New it plant and keeping what grows well and looks best in my space. Enjoy your journey. I did ❤
I feel like I’ve been at kind of a similar point in my plant journey. I’m planning giving a lot of my propagations away to friends and trying to create a more intentional space for my plants. Thanks for sharing!
I can truly understand where you are in your plant journey. I have sold or given away a few that is not bringing me joy. Can’t wait to watch more of your journey
I feel that you have given me permission to liberate myself from the duty and compulsion to propagate! For me, the visual over-stimulation of too many specimens is a barrier to focus and appreciation, and it does not lend itself to feeling serene in my home. I sacrifice the aesthetic pleasure and appreciation of all of them when I have too many. Thank you!
Thus really resonated with me, I know that feeling all too well. It’s just so freeing to enjoy them on their own terms without constantly feeling the need to multiply.
Completely agree about Anthuriums! That is all I am going to be purchasing here on out no more buying plants I “don’t” love. Anthuriums are so gorgeous.
Anthuriums really are just that stunning! The one genus where I get insanely excited by new leaves because you never know how they are going to turn out!!!!
Hi There! No more props! If there is a garden nearby with a compost you can take all of your plant cuttings to that garden. This way you keep a clean plant collection and the scraps and cuttings go back to nourish the earth. Happy intentional shaping, refining and manicuring your plant collection. And HAPPY HOLIDAY SEASON WITH A BLESSED COMING NEW YEAR. Study God's Word.
This is such a helpful suggestion, I’ve been pondering a solution for all the cuttings and scraps, this makes perfect sense. Season’s blessings, may you have a happy, prosperous and blessed new year.
Morning monef I feel you mines are all in m6 bedroom started last year as a hobby I fell in love with the philodendron gloriosum then monstera I have decorated bedroom don’t know how am going to rearrange just have two anthuriums purchased a sp el condo anthurium about 3 weeks ago a baby plant a few propagations sitting in water which I will put back into the same plant I took it from good idea one kind of a plant is enough you will get there big hugs beautiful I live in the uk and as you guess plants are doing well at the moment and as you say love the jungle look xx ❤
Such an interesting topic. I hope you will succeed in this journey. Projects like these can be very satisfying! We did something like this downstairs a while back.. took everything out… and started by placing the things that we really really really wanted there… and then only added the ones that complemented those plants. It took quite a bit of shuffling, taking pictures in the process helped a lot. It was fun but also mentally and emotionally tiring 😅 Afterwards a lot of people were happy with the plants we gave away, that was nice too. (Still have too many, but those are upstairs 😂)
This is exactly what I need to do! I’m constrained by space so I will have to think carefully about how I achieve it, but I definitely think it will work. Your outcome sounds amazing!
It’s funny you’ve posted this at this time. I have so many plants but I didn’t really see how many I had until I’ve been home every day for the past month. I am so overwhelmed just looking at them now. Need to consider a reset as well.
It just creeps up on you out of nowhere! The nice thing about plants though is that sometimes a quick reset can make them feel brand new all over again.
@@Monefsjungle I put it in the new Naked Root Planter but have a chunky aroid mix. It’s roots sat in water while I was on vacation. The leaves have black spots on them and turning yellow. I poured the water out the well to let it dry out but the soiless mix is still moist after 10 days.
@@darlinemiller596how much light is getting? If you have a south window, put it there in direct sunlight. It really helps in terms of bouncing back from stress. If it’s not getting much light, maybe slowly build up to it.
I truly understand about the Monstera I have 1 that is about 3 years old & it has a full corner in my living room ,it now has grown maybe 5 other plants. It’s huge and gorgeous but I really think it’s time to share with others 🧐
I was watching another plant lady unplantparenthood and she had a really nice racking system in her from room. Ever thought of trying that by the big sunny window?
I have yes, I would need yo figure out how to reconfigure the room to make this possible. It’s small and narrow unfortunately, which limits my options but I’m definitely giving it some thought!
Sounds like a lot of us Creators are making big changes in our lives. I literally ran into a wall this weekend and had to make a decision do I keep it or not, if so why? I don’t even come close to your amount of plants, but I am mentally tired and physically with what I do have. I think even without a full-time job I would feel this way. You aren’t alone and I am looking forward to what you come up with.

Great video! So relatable and inspiring! I am becoming a lot more intentional about any new plants I bring in and revamping my space as well 💚

Your anthurium are looking stunning Monef!
Thank you, they really are coming along nicely!
yesss i feel you 😂 but i will say I've been selling & giving away the ones that seem more blah to me.......baby steps i guess 💚💚💚
Step by step. I definitely need to start doing what you do with selling and giving stuff away as needed.
You could give me your A.h dragons breath…😂😂
Good video!
Oh I’ll definitely be holding on to that one😂😂😂😂

Thank you, love the jungle look too. Funny enough big beautiful gloriosums were my weakness too when I first started!

@ I need help with my Monstera Thai Con. I spent too much money for this plant to let it die . 😱
@@darlinemiller596gosh, that is stressful. What’s wrong with it? What issues are you having?

Right, it’s such a gorgeous plant and a delight to grow, but it completely takes over!

Yes exactly, I think we are all reflecting and realizing that while we love and enjoy the plants, we don’t want them to rule our existence!
PS, your hair looks nice.
Thank you!!!!
