Thank you for watching! In that case try to add manual login. In this article: medium.com/p/9bc0bbf989fd#d920 Follow along the step called using manual login and retry again. I hope this helps.
Thanks for this, I can actually see my debian server on the active directory domain controller but when on a linux client on the same network cannot get through authentication, using username: domain\username and the pw, --> sorry password authentication didn't work. please try again.
Why is Ubuntu so fuckin complicated. When you Install the os you can choose to join a Domain or Not. But afterwards...Nooo use the terminal. Circumstantial af. Thanks for your vid, anyway 😂
Good question. The added time is just for the intro and the setup explanation. I even start a timer within the video to show the lapsed time. Thanks for watching 😊
i foudn a solution using only pbis-open , the i join my linux computer to the domain from that utility installer. after that the only thing i did was install realm and samba-common tools.(i did not configured a thing there, neither kerberos or sssd). i followed the extra settings to add in the desktop config via pbis-open documentaion and voila! all my ADD users can log in via ssh or x desktop. what i would like to see is a manual to share files in the samba member server using the Active directory policies without touching the actual settings,
Thank you for the time you took to give us this amazingly clear explanation. Quick and efficient, just what I needed. You rule!
Thank you so much for your encouraging words, I am happy you enjoyed the video!
Wooow!... Not very longer time ago, it was not so simple. Nice to see samba-related developers are improving so much...
Very true, it used to be much more of a hassle.

Awesome, I followed all the steps perfectly, it worked successfully. Thank you so much :)👍👌
