⚠️ warning. This method will send the mains (FOH MIX) to the streaming software. This is not recommended as it is a mix that is reinforcing sound to a particular environment and will probably contain FX etc for that room. This is OK for tutorial/personal performance but would not give the right quality feed for show/gig type stream. For that type of stream the broadcast engineer requires a dry mulitrack tap. Hope this adds some useful information to this very helpful tutorial. ✌😎
If I choose "user out" (say 9-16) to send a different bus stereo pair to the card, will I have to re-program all of the other channels in that range to what they were before in the user out routing area? I just don't want to mess up what the other busses are already doing. I hope that makes sense. Thanks!

Can i do that ? what equipment do i need ? bcause i dont like the sound from console, i've tried to mix them on FOH mix and separate stereo mixbus 11+12, but i dont like the sound thx for the info
You can send all track to your DAW. If you can play on the DAW at the same time to your live will depend on your DAW capability. Whether it has latency? Your PC need to be very powerful as it is processing multiple video in obs and many track in DAW
If you are using 16 channel, You can duplicate the inputs signal to 17-32 and have different processing for live stream and house sound. Of more channel, you need 2 mixers
Does this only work to send main left and right to PC, or can it be routed to send Mix Bus 1 and 2 to PC? We are currently sending mix bus 1 and 2 to our PC from our M32R through an external audio interface.

We currently have channels 7-8 as our main output to the house. Would I set the user outputs to mirror 7-8 or still use 15-16 as you said that this is the "default" for the mixer?
For non DAW, the PC only able to "see" channel 1 & 2 of the card. Regardless 7&8 or 15&16, you need make sure rout your output to card 1 out and card 2 out

First question is not clear: what do you want to do with two laptop for the midas? Second question you can use talkback during rehearsal. Use walkie talkie if the show is live.

@@just.decide_platforms. if you are using usb, it's not possible to use two laptops. either you get a DANTE card for the console or use 2 units Klark Teknik DN9630 for the 2 PC

For simple live streaming you just need a LR signal to streaming service. You do not need DAW like reaper. The pc able to "see" channel 1 & channel 2 of the x32 card. So you won't need it. However for full 32 in 32 out, you new a DAW and you need ASIO driver. That's entirely another type of setup
In obs under mic 1 setting, you should be able to see the driver. You need to select it. Alternative, if you installed asio driver, you need to download obs asio plugin so that obs can see asio
hello, great video yet i need your help still. i did get all driver yet the pc cannot see the x32 still. i did also update the firmware on the x32 an nothing. they way you setup yours is it connect the table directly to the pc with and usb cable ? i am not sure what i am doing wrong except it is not see the table . thank you
@@ericcheesaihoo thank you for the reply , I did try it with a different computer . the computer respond that a usb was connected yet on the list on the sound settings, I cant find the X32 what i am missing? also on the table i dont have 2in/2out option at all. my firware is 4.02 and the computer has windows 10 pro. thank you again for your help

True. For pro they need 2 mixers. One for live and one for broadcast
Easy fix instead main left and right choose any other stereo pair outs example say 3/4, mix just for the internet

What firmware does your m32 have, I have a m32 but the panels and de colors are very diferent

i assume you mean AUX 5 & 6 send to Aux 1 and 2.. no it cannot be done this way

Yes usb cable from the console to pc. Try different usb port on your pc and try different pc as well
