  • My friend Niko-chan arranged a Geisha party for friends. The beginning is Jan/Ken/Pon (paper/sissors/stone) where the winner taps the drum and the loser spins around. then some formal, traditional dancing, more Jan/Ken and then Tiger/Lance/Old Lady (same idea as Jan/Ken/Pon.

    I am Japanese and my mother is a former Geisha from Akasaka and i can find a lot of negative things to say about this.
    Your ethnicity has nothing to do with your ability to appreciate or dislike something, You may be asian, but unless you are Japanese this is not more of your culture than if you were western or african or whatever else. And even as a Japanese you are perfectly entitled to dislike it.

      If you find it boring its your oppinion, but please be more respectfull. It is a traditional culture after all

      It's a beautiful tradition that if I ever travel to Japan I'll be willing to spend a lot to experience.
