I think the reason most people think washing off the gel wouldn't work is because stuff like Jell-o and cheese just turn to goop when you get them wet and without you saying and now proving you can just wash it off I would probably assume that too since I have zero hands-on experience with the stuff. It's good to know if I ever do get some though. Also credit to Jay, all of these roll pin designs have performed pretty well.

Blood and fluids, chest tubes, intubate, pericardiocentesis, etc. Mostly just trying to get them to the surgeon and the hell out of your ER.
those are outstanding! I did something similar with a 44 mag hollow point, opened up a bit to fit a .22 long backwards and without the 22 projectile, just filled the cavity and casing with what ever powder they put in a Remington .22. It blew a big chuck of concrete off the valve box of an old concrete water tank. Good fun!

very impressive but I would suggest using dowel pins which are solid steel instead of being hollow like roll pins, this would add a little weight and likely make the pins travel farther through the target. This would make a perfect self defense round, you get expansion and fragmentation while also getting the right amount of penetration without too much over-penetration. I can see this being a commercially made shell.
The advantage of hollow pins would probably be great for soft tissue, because the pins act like an apple core remover. It would be an interesting test to see. Solid pins would probably be great for bear hunting or for situations where solid objects are present. i. e. Skulls, doors, etc..
Next casting of the gel head, how about a can of corn? Bet the slo mo would look good. Those shells were devastating. Nice job Jay for the hedgehogs, Jeff for the loads and bringing us the results with Zac and Amanda operating the projectile accelerators. 😁

Copper thermite would make an excellent 'booster mix' for your little gremlin rounds. Makes a bright blue-green flash, lots of orange smoke (copper vapor). The stuff is insensitive to impact and friction, so on paper it would be a bit safer than harvesting material from fireworks.
Given that I'm from Britain, I'm not big on guns, especially in the hands of the average Joe, as you may know, gun laws in Britain are very strict. Only certain police officers can carry a firearm and farmers who must be licenced and may only use them in areas set out by the government. I actually enjoyed watching your videos. This is the 2nd one I've watched now. It's nice that you are not just shooting for the sake of shooting. There is an art that is involved in your content which draws in enthusiasts and non-enthusiasts. And having the outside community sending you their products of their imagination for you to test and communicate with your audience is very educational.

This is the 2nd one I've watched now. It's nice that you are not just shooting for the sake of shooting. There is an art that is involved in your content which draws in enthusiasts and non-enthusiasts. And having the outside community sending you their products of their imagination for you to test and communicate with your audience is very educational.
