Neither am I but I know different words mean different things. Hay is hay, straw is straw, Drae is massive numpty who's lucky he's entertaining because holy crap he'd be useless at every single job out in the real world.
@Drae - Fun fact: in rural farming towns here in the U.S., farmers pass around and pass down big ole harvesters like your Massey. The bigger farmers (10,000+ acres) can't afford to have a harvester break down or be inoperable during harvest season, so they'll often buy brand new million dollar harvesters every season and once that season is over, they sell them down to smaller farmers and the cycle continues. Just thought you might find that interesting.
Little tip I learnt is to plant a grass field and place your barns on top of that and not selecting the pasture option. Animals will eat the grass but it regrows next season unlike the meadow pasture which is single use effectively.
since you confuse them: Hay is dried grass, while straw is produced by harvesting grain. Also 13:50 : Each plant of oat produces the same amount of straw. Since you are harvesting 12 rows at once, itll be of course more straw in that one line than if you only harvest 6 rows at once
Love these videos, because, well, I worked/hungout at a Dairy Farm the last 18 years. It's an addicting career. I never operated a Combine because we have our sister farm, who specializes in cash cropping, do all our combining. I've operated pretty much everything else in this game except them crazy rice contraptions. I'm not watching to judge you, I just laugh the entire time. You're quite quick compared to others I watch. Which, for Drae, is pretty spectacular. I mean that with love. 😂😂
It is crazy how off the speedometer is in that game, there is no way what you were doing on the road with the tractor was only 40-50 kilometres and no way what you were doing with the forklift thing was 18 kilometres there. That had to have been like 30 kilometres or something at least.
The reason why your harvester wasn’t able to go uphill is because the header is too big and you’re taking too much engine power to rotate it so it stops you from being able to go uphill or things like that, you can tell that this is happening because the engine will change sounds andyou’ll just hear it have to get into a lower gear to rotate, this happens in real life too
With the amount of upkeep it takes to plant, fertilize, weed, harvest, and transport a single crop, its just not worth it. 2 giant fields of oats that barely net you $75k and it takes an entire year of work.. Not to mention the cost of employees to do your work, maintenance, as well as all the equipment you bought you completely lost money in that venture. In the long game you will eventually be positive since you now own the equipment but its going to take many years to be worth it. I still think you can make more money doing contracts than actually farming yourself.

The giant semi truck trailer you passed up on for 45k would have likely held your entire oat harvest in one run to sell it off.
Petition to make videos longer ❤
That’d be great. His videos have always been entertaining for years on.
In all actuality, if it makes him more money, I would 💯 support longer videos. Love his content
Yes!
Agree
I would like for him to make longer video's or have a unedited video's Chanel
The way he says Silage got me laughing so hard 😂
Drae picking up straw "well I'll need hay for animals so this will come in handy." That's like confusing petrol for diesel.
Tru but drae aint a fermer

@@omnomshibob Which makes him a perfect candidate for the next US President. Although being entertaining might make him over-qualified.
@@section7173 man I'd move to America just to vote for him!

Side to side would be the best idea lol straw isn’t hay drae hay is a product from grass
Toast is a product from bread :)
Oh he's actually starting to do animals just like he claimed he wanted to do right away on EP1 lol, took a little bit haha
When you buy used you should immediately repair it

Hey drae you can use plough to increase the farm sizes
It might be a higher initial investment, but the MacDon swather stuff might be right up your alley.

DRAE I love❤ your videos❤❤❤
Why not just reverse up to the harvester with your trailer?
Because he can't back up a trailer
Bails. Can store in an open area.
Cy-Ledge, its made from compacting grass or chopped corn in a bin or pit.
That header definitely folds for transport.
Also, maybe try backing up to the harvester to unload it.......
For your header on your harvester, you can toe it with a tractor.
The macdon header has a built in trailer it is just weird to get the build in trailer to function right sometimes
2:45 the trailer hook is build into one end of it

now you have 2 weeders xD the one you had alredy can seed soyabeens ;D
You should repair your harvester and header as the lower your repair bar is the lower the yield you get from your harvest
Oh drae I don't know what you expected
Drae is a good example of FFA - Farmer Farms Alone
STRAW Drae, it is STRAW! 🙄😄
Your headder, which is to large for your harvester, actually has a build in trailer, it unfolds and turns into it´s own trailer.
Drae I love you! No homo! But you are uploading every day. You are legend and I always eat while I am watching! 😂❤Respect
"Not a big deal" after you knock down your vehicles and some road signs on the way.
and ther is difrenz with hay and straw dude xD
Best series on the internet
New mountain climbing game, Cairn, check it out. One of the best I’ve tried
Love the framing sim content ❤
Drae, you can always take a loan on the financial screen :P you love loans...
Dude just press x and the header will unfold so you can drive with it on the back 🤣🤣
YES! I love this series, can’t believe I’m so early!
Also no hate but it’s si-lage (psy-ledge) vs sil-age
Crumbling simulator 25 😝
Hello my Canadian friend
The header you have has a built-in trailer

OMG! It’s straw not hay! Cows eat hay and shit on straw! 😂
I worry for the animals
This is going well but you need money time to sell wood again
Farting simulator 2025 is the best

Why don't you upgrade the engines of your tractors in the sohop? Are they already max power?
This is what happens when you buy everything because it's on sale.

Hi
Install better engine in your harvester if possible
Hi
If you can turn it into a trailer you can customize things next to the shop
U broke him
That header does have a transport on it.
You shouldn't start with animals if you don't have any money I would have suggested you save that money and buy a new combine
