Daisy, I am an old man and absolutely love your videos. My wife isn't in to wood working at all but she watches your videos with me and enjoys them as much as I do. I hope those negative people NEVER change who you are and what you do. They just have to show up everywhere kind of like rats, cockroaches or mice. It would be fantastic if someone could invent a TH-cam pest control spray to get rid of the pests that have nothing constructive to say. Be you, we love who you are and what you do.

You seem to be collecting old men! I’m another old man who enjoys your videos. I watch a variety of luthier channels and can’t help despairing over the waste that can be avoided with a scarf joint and stacked heal. Lovely book matching on the back; something else you share with Gabi Reti. And the best way to confront the doubters? Head on by by doing what you’re so obviously good at!

I can’t think of a worse insult than suggesting that you are a deepfake. Speaking as a guitar, violin and bow maker myself I find you videos inspiring and love to watch other craft people at work.

LOVE your vid Daisy, inspiring and so comforting that there are young people like you taking up the artisan arts and honouring tools and wood to create something from raw materials. You're something real in a world of fakers and pretenders, Keep it up!

While every aspect of an acoustic guitar is vitally important to the finished instrument, the neck is (to me) the most magical. It is, more than anything else, what determines if it will be a joy to play - or a beast to be wrestled. Beautiful seeing it come together. It's easy to tell how therapeutic it is for you, making it, as it's therapeutic to me seeing it done. Thanks, as always Daisy, for brightening my day!

I found your videos randomly and seeing this brought a tear to my eye… not because of your amazing woodworking but because when I see guitars I think of my uncle, he majored in classical guitar and when he played it was so clear and crisp that it was beautiful, I remember the day we went to watch him preform It was a miserable day rainy out no one knew where to go and I remember sitting there listening to him play, it sounded like a piano almost. I haven’t heard him play since but I hope some day I can learn so that I can play for him and let him hear what I heard that day

Good Day Ms. Luthier, If I may I have a suggestion for you to think on. Do not listen to those people who instill self doubt. I hav watched your videos to some extent. If anything validates your abilities it is your tools. You have extremely sharp chisels and planes. That is nothing a faker can achieve. Hells bells not many even know a sharp tool period. I am a luthier and studied under a master luthier here in Nova Scotia for 6 years. I knew the basics by that time and continued on opening my own business. You have significant skills and knowledge. Keep on that path. My path led me to restoration and repair as I made no money from building. It is a conjested market and my hope is that your dreams come to fruition. Cheers, Lex Luthier
