Love all your new plant babies! I sometimes think that if I had started out with lets say 5 Hoyas many years ago, I may not have the variety of plants I now own. I would have spent all my money on Hoyas 😊. Of course now I know my plant journey took me down the path of variety which I find to be very satisfying and enjoyable. Peggy, I get that. My plant journey also began with mote common & affordable plants. Maybe 6mo in I began to watch more and more TH-camrs that were showing these beautiful Hoya's and blooms that I had to try it out. Idk what it is about Hoya's and Anthurium but by far those are my favorite species. I need to do an updated Houseplant tour for sure. I bet your collection is breath taking 💚. I have several pre-recorded bc several weeks back I had the filming bug lol. I love seeing your plant babies. Our pets are our family xo I lost my dog Jake in January and it was one of the most difficult times in my life 😢 he was 14 years old and 100 pounds xo a gentle giant. I’m happy you’re working on being more active and exercising!! It’s not easy getting started but once you push through that you will feel more empowered and stronger physically and emotionally!! ❤️ the struggle is real!! One day at a time ❤️🙌🪴

Hahaha soo many mama jokes my family has to put up with. I have all set to start selling plants. Just need to write up a disclaimer and start posting. I love biakensis, it did grow well for me in about 2 mounth. Then the leafs became yellow and fall off. Tried it in terrarium and in different medium but nothing worked, it died :( Good luck and I hope that it will grow good 4 u....
Oh gosh, that is awful. Did you ever tried sphagnum? I have been keeping my Hoya's in it and was planning on doing the same with the Biakensis. I don't want it to die. Did not realize it could be finicky. Thanks for watching planty friend 💚
@@vintageintentions yeah I tried with sphagnum moss also, but nothing worked. Maybe I got a "bad" cutting. I wish you the best, please let me know how it goes for you, and what you did. I might try one more time then. 😊
@@nettansouthwall8524 the biakensis so far has adjusted well. I use sphagnum along with slow release fertilizer Osmocote and is under a full spectrum light in my Ikea cabinet and is showing new growth. Is probably one to retry since you could be right and could had been a bad cutting. I also add rooting hormone powder to every cutting. I will give future updates and please keep me posted if you decide on trying it again. Take care and have a great weekend!

Hey Pam! I have been ordering like crazy and this video was recorded a while ago. I was trying to see if it was from Etsy but can't remember my log in to check. I usually order from hoyaplants.com also My Happy Plants on Etsy, several in Mercari if they have 5 stars, Gardino when I can & when it comes to imports My Home Nature. There's also a couple I follow from Instagram Lighthousehoya & ricfl (which a few of my plants are from Ric). There is a 3rd one from Instagram but I can't remember the name now.
