Another amazing feat. Long day for sure and your stamina is off the chart. May give Static Peak a try next time I’m in NSM as that ridge looks fun
What trailhead/parking lot did you start from?
Cameron Pass, from the north. You could also come at it from the south at the Colorado River TH in RMNP proper
how was the ridge up static peak? any class 3 moves?
Definitely some class 3 here and there, but not that long/difficult overall. Rock is solid and the scrambling is a blast
Do you do any sort of cross training like trail running for these adventures? You’ve been clocking some big days this year props
I definitely was running more over the past winter and spring but nothing ridiculous, maybe 5mi 2 days a week plus a lower elevation/mileage hike on weekends. I have a background in swimming and cross country so I suppose that's helped with the endurance. Never hurts to be in your 20s either, using it while I've got it
Nice! I got back into trail running this winter/spring to train for the mountains so I’m always curious about other people’s routines. Your trips are definitely inspiring. Monday I did Mummy and Hagues in a loop and that was my biggest day out yet. Cheers to more adventures!
Well done! Awesome video. What a crazy day.
