    Wish there was a way to bookmark this video since it took 48 minutes of fast forward & play/ FF & Play before getting down to brass tacks. Lotsa other info presented beforehand so will have to rewatch again... Thx for sharing your insight, hints, and tips!!! :)

    Just finished watching the replay- took a couple of sessions- I have a new grand-#10!
    I like to lay out an entire album if it’s a theme. I’m going to try the vertical style next. I think it will be easier to work with. Thanks for all of the tips.
    I’m going to take your album in a day class soon. Thanks to the ladies who recommended the class!
    I just have to thank you again and again, Lauren!!
    You have truly changed my life. My scrapbook room is organized, and I’m beginning to tackle my photos. I cannot wait to start scrapbooking those photos…

    Great video, Lauren! Thank you for sharing your amazing ideas and tricks. Sometimes seeing you do it changes my entire outlook... you typically give me "ah-ha" moments for my scrapbooks and my organization! Thank you so much!! I was able to complete my late husband's album in three weeks. 😍

    Album in a Day was a fantastic class! The series of videos goes through each phase of planning and crafting an album start to finish. Well worth the price!

    I've been working on a power layout box for an upcoming crop and hopefully get more done toward finishing an album! Been doing power layouts for years but this video reminded me of your album in a day ideas and the old power layout guide. thank you!

    Vertical method - I cut the zipper closure off an extra CM paper collection bag and the layout board and contents fit great.

    Power Layouts is THE BEST way to plan an album, hands down. I've been using them apparently since 2003 😆

    Hi from Australia. Thanks Lauren for this organisational video. Just catching up on replays. Loved it, extremely helpful, especially Option 3 will make my life a lot easier. Gotta get me one of those Black CM Power layout kits/Pods to store projects "vertically". 🙃

    I was so excited when I saw your title in “what’s coming up for FNSBL on YT” (Friday Night scrapbook live) and couldn’t to watch!!! 🤩🙌 Unfortunately I wont be able to make the lives anymore since my job is now Friday evenings and Tuesday afternoon- as I love the “tidy up Tuesday’s” as well ❤❤❤ And you didn’t disappoint! 👍 … as always 🥰. Great chat with so many ideas - I seem to be vertical as well now. And I loooooved the “Album in a Day” class! Need to go back to that one as it was so good. Big hugs my friend and I look forward to your next teachings xoxo 😘💖✨

    There was an even older power layout handout. Donna Pitstick Haller distributed a 2-page paper handout before Croptalks were printed. Probably mid to late 90s!

    Hello Lauren, I enjoyed this video on Power Layouts. I did learn something new, even after all these years! Kind of crazy to see the old Crop Talk and learn that it was from 2003!! I liked the method of using those sleeves and I think I'm going to adopt it. I have one question: will they fit into the PL box? One more: LOM - Library of Memories? where do I get more info on this? Thank you for doing these videos, I will be watching more.

    Thanks, Lauren! I never understood how to do the power layouts before, but I am definitely a vertical storage person and am going to try your modification of the modification way of doing things. Question: Does the power layout come after the process of the little paper photo folders in the photo box? Or instead of it? I have found those photo box folders very helpful in figuring out what can go on each scrapbook page/layout.

    Done the power layouts back in 1980s I was a creative consult then. Are you going to show how to cut the paper so you can save paper. Like using that power lay out.

    • @CraftSomeJoy
      @CraftSomeJoy  ปีที่แล้ว

      Lol… I have lots of videos on my channel the scrap with me videos tip videos and many others are much shorter, but Friday nights are never short😄

    • @robynveney647
      @robynveney647 ปีที่แล้ว

      I break the long videos into shorter ones of 20-30 minutes depending on the subject. Just "stop" the video replay and you can come back to it when you have time.
